Story
Hello peeps, my name is Pablo and it's great to meet you. I may not be psychic but I can see a lot of cuddling on the couch and hanging out in our future. I'm kind of awesome and I'm already fully kennel and house trained. I'm working on my leash manners and I'm almost there!I'm social and friendly and have gotten along with pretty much everyone; dogs and kids alike! I'm a social butterfly, didn't you know? But I would prefer a home without cats as they can be fun to chase. I'm a chill dude, pretty content to Netflix and Chill, but I'm also up for an adventure. I'm all about keeping you happy and matching your pace. Some people say I'm a bit of a people pleaser but I like to think I'm just highly adaptable and intuitive.I have a condition called epilepsy, and I take daily medication to keep my seizures under control. It is very important my adoptive family continues these medications so that I stay safe. My friends at MUR will tell you all about it. If you're looking for a well rounded, loveable dude, then don't hesitate cause I'm right here!

Story
Astrid is a sweet, goofy young dog with a playful spirit and a heart full of love for her people. In her mind she is absolutely lap dog sized and personal space is simply not part of her vocabulary. If you sit down, Astrid will happily assume it is an invitation to join you. She is a silly, affectionate girl who loves to play and keep her humans smiling with her antics.Astrid has already mastered many of the important life skills that young dogs are still working on. She is fully kennel trained, house trained, and leash trained, and she has shown that she is a smart girl who learns quickly, especially when treats are involved. She enjoys being active and would love a family that likes to get out and play with her, but she is also perfectly happy turning into a big couch potato after a day of fun. Astrid loves plush toys with squeakers and will happily entertain herself with them.Astrid can live with other dogs when introductions are slow and calm, and she tends to do best with dogs who have a more relaxed play style. She does well with cats but may occasionally give chase, so dog savvy cats would be the best match. She can do well with children, though she would prefer older kids who are calm and able to respect her signals and boundaries. Astrid prefers a calmer home environment. Astrid has been learning a consent and cooperative care approach in her foster home where her signals and comfort are respected so she can have some autonomy and build trust. With continued respectful handling and clear communication, Astrid continues to thrive and grow in confidence. If you are looking for a playful, affectionate companion who will keep life fun and then happily snuggle up on the couch beside you, Astrid may be the perfect match. Apply to adopt and let this silly girl bring laughter, love, and squeaky toys into your home.PLEASE NOTE: To meet our adoptable dogs, please fill out an adoption application. We don't have a public shelter, so this is the first step to meeting your new furry friend!

Story
Mako is a smart, active young dog with a strong personality and a curious mind. He likes to know what his people are up to and will happily follow you around the house, but he also appreciates having some time to himself. When he is ready for fun, he is more than happy to wrestle and play with his canine companion.Mako is making good progress with his kennel training and house training and is just about ready to start learning his leash manners. He is a quick learner and picks up training commands well, especially when his people are patient and consistent. Like any young dog, he will need a family who is ready to continue building his skills and help him grow into the well rounded companion he is capable of becoming. Due to his age, Mako has the potential to do well with other dogs, cats, and children when proper introductions and boundaries are in place.Mako strikes a lovely balance between being an active playmate and an independent little guy. He enjoys the company of another dog and loves a good wrestling session, but he does not need to be entertained every minute of the day. Give him something interesting to learn, a canine friend to play with, and a person to follow around, and Mako is one happy boy.If you are looking for a clever, active companion with a little bit of determination and a lot of potential, Mako might be your perfect match. Apply today and help this smart boy keep learning!PLEASE NOTE: To meet our adoptable dogs, please fill out an adoption application. Story
Hazel is a smart, playful, and affectionate dog looking for a home that matches her energy and personality. She absolutely loves water! Whether it’s swimming, playing with the hose, or chasing sprinklers, she’s always up for some splashing fun. She gets along well with dogs after slow introductions, and would do best living with another dog. She can live with dog-savvy cats (confident cats who don’t run or startle easily). Hazel is also good with kids but can get jumpy when she’s excited, so a home with older children or kids familiar with dogs would be a great fit. Hazel is fully housebroken and knows many commands, including sit, stay, roll over, shake, and more. She’s continuing to work on her leash manners and improves every day, though she can still be reactive to some dogs and cats on walks. With patience and consistency, she thrives. She does have some environmental and food allergies, which are managed with her current routine. Hazel does great on the Royal Canin Anallergenic kibble t formula and receives regular Cytopoint injections. Her adopter will be provided with all the details and support needed to keep her healthy and comfortable. Hazel does best with another dog in the home to help manage her separation anxiety. Having a canine companion gives her confidence when her humans are away. When her foster mom is gone, Hazel relaxes in a room with her dog buddy, Tia, and spends the day napping on the bed. She has also handled short periods alone on the couch. A big cuddler at heart, Hazel loves waking her foster mom up with kisses before snuggling in as the little spoon and sharing her pillow. She’s a silly girl with a fondness for throw pillows and has a habit of rolling off the couch or bed daily, taking it all in stride. If you’re looking for a loyal, goofy, and intelligent companion, Hazel can’t wait to meet you.

Story
Did you know that Bella means Beautiful? I'm told that I'm a beautiful girl so I suppose the name Bella suits me! I have a long standing history with MUR and I always loved when they would come for a visit. Now that I'm an official MUR dog and ready to find my forever home it's time for me to tell you a little about myself. I'm a super smart dog and I'm already kennel trained and house trained! My leash manners still need a bit of refining but I'm doing better every day. I do great with other dogs and would do best in a home with a confident and social dog to help me continue to grow my confidence.I would rather have a home without any felines as they are a bit too intriguing and I'm not good at leaving them alone. I have met kids and have done great with them too.Life can be scary but I promise I don't take long to trust (bonus points if you have treats) and I'm a smart girl who learns super quick! I'm gentle and I have the most adorable smile. Belly rubs are my favourite and I'm super quick to roll over for them when is tart to get comfortable. If you're looking for a special girl who will love you with all her heart, then look no further!
