Story
Astrid is a sweet, goofy young dog with a playful spirit and a heart full of love for her people. In her mind she is absolutely lap dog sized and personal space is simply not part of her vocabulary. If you sit down, Astrid will happily assume it is an invitation to join you. She is a silly, affectionate girl who loves to play and keep her humans smiling with her antics.Astrid has already mastered many of the important life skills that young dogs are still working on. She is fully kennel trained, house trained, and leash trained, and she has shown that she is a smart girl who learns quickly, especially when treats are involved. She enjoys being active and would love a family that likes to get out and play with her, but she is also perfectly happy turning into a big couch potato after a day of fun. Astrid loves plush toys with squeakers and will happily entertain herself with them.Astrid can live with other dogs when introductions are slow and calm, and she tends to do best with dogs who have a more relaxed play style. She does well with cats but may occasionally give chase, so dog savvy cats would be the best match. She can do well with children, though she would prefer older kids who are calm and able to respect her signals and boundaries. Astrid prefers a calmer home environment. Astrid has been learning a consent and cooperative care approach in her foster home where her signals and comfort are respected so she can have some autonomy and build trust. With continued respectful handling and clear communication, Astrid continues to thrive and grow in confidence. If you are looking for a playful, affectionate companion who will keep life fun and then happily snuggle up on the couch beside you, Astrid may be the perfect match. Apply to adopt and let this silly girl bring laughter, love, and squeaky toys into your home.PLEASE NOTE: To meet our adoptable dogs, please fill out an adoption application. Kilo has a sweet, playful personality and would thrive in a home where he can continue learning, growing, and being included in daily life. Story
Don’t let the name fool you, Grimm’s story is nothing but sweet. This lovable puppy is equal parts cuddly companion and playful adventurer. Grimm is happiest when he’s close to his people, whether that means following you around the house or curling up beside you for a cozy cuddle. His foster family describes him as incredibly sweet and gentle, and he has already shown wonderful manners with his furry foster siblings until they’re both ready for a well-earned nap.Like all young puppies, Grimm is still learning about the world around him. He is already kennel trained and doing well building his foundation skills, but he will still need a family committed to continuing his house training, leash training, and general life skills as he grows. With patience, consistency, and positive reinforcement, Grimm has all the potential to grow into a fantastic companion. Because of his young age, he can do well with other dogs, and respectful children, as long as proper introductions and healthy boundaries are maintained to help him keep those good habits. He would, however, prefer a home with no cats as they are far too interesting and fun to chase. Grimm may share a name with a famous storyteller, but the only tale he wants to tell is one filled with cuddles, playtime, and happily-ever-afters. Whether he’s romping around with a canine friend or snuggling up beside you after a long day, Grimm is the kind of pup who will quickly become the heart of the home.If you’re ready to give this sweet little hero his happily ever after, apply today before Grimm’s next chapter begins with someone else!PLEASE NOTE: To meet our adoptable dogs, please fill out an adoption application. Story
Hello peeps, my name is Pablo and it's great to meet you. I may not be psychic but I can see a lot of cuddling on the couch and hanging out in our future. I'm kind of awesome and I'm already fully kennel and house trained. I'm working on my leash manners and I'm almost there!I'm social and friendly and have gotten along with pretty much everyone; dogs and kids alike! I'm a social butterfly, didn't you know? But I would prefer a home without cats as they can be fun to chase. I'm a chill dude, pretty content to Netflix and Chill, but I'm also up for an adventure. I'm all about keeping you happy and matching your pace. Some people say I'm a bit of a people pleaser but I like to think I'm just highly adaptable and intuitive.I have a condition called epilepsy, and I take daily medication to keep my seizures under control. It is very important my adoptive family continues these medications so that I stay safe. My friends at MUR will tell you all about it. If you're looking for a well rounded, loveable dude, then don't hesitate cause I'm right here!
