Story
Hi, I’m Onyx! I’m about 9 months old. I’m a very happy boy. I’ve been living with a family with small kids and they’re really fun! I still need a bit of practice remembering not to use my mouth when playing, but I’m learning! I love to play fetch or tug, and walks are a blast! I’m pretty good on leash, for a puppy, but still working on loose-leash walking. I sleep on the floor beside my humans at night. When they’re gone to work, I stay in my kennel, which will come with me if I am adopted. Sometimes I get scared in the kennel, but I’m working on staying calm til they come back. The back yard is really fun too, and I run faster than any of the humans I’ve met! I do sometimes try to bury a toy if they leave me out there too long, so I’ve been having more and more baths this spring. Im pretty good in the tub! I’ll pass them whatever paw they need and mostly just stand still waiting to be done. The small kids have LOTS of fun things so I frequently try to play with their toys. I don’t like to give them back and am still working on dropping things when they tell me “leave it”. It’s a tough one for me… I know what it means, but sometimes it’s more fun to be chased than to give it back.😉 I’ve been practicing some time at doggy daycare and am slowly working myself up to a full day. I really like to play with other dogs and sometimes I need a bit of redirection if the other dog is not quite as excited as I am. When a human calls my name or tries to get me to walk away from the other dog, I come right away. The daycare staff keep telling my human how smart I am! I don’t think I’ve met any cats yet, so I’m not sure how I would feel about them. My human thinks I might be a bit too eager right now, but we won’t know til we try! I can sit, lay down, I understand “off”, and love to shake a paw. 🐾 When the humans spend time with me, they keep telling me I’m such a good boy. I love the scratches behind the ears so much! They get really sad when they talk about me finding a new home, but they tell me that I will absolutely thrive if I find a home where the owners have a bit more time. I really am a good boy, so I think they might be right!

Story
Daisy is an amazing dog, she has shown us that she is great at agility, is a quick learner and has fantastic recall. Daisy is fully housetrained and stays out of trouble, even when left alone. She currently lives with three young children and does amazing with them! She is very people friendly and loves getting all the pets! Squeaky toys are her fave, but they don’t stay squeaky for long.😆 Daisy would be best suited as the only dog in the home. She finds thunderstorms scary, but other loud noises don’t seem to phase her. Daisy does excellent with cats!
