You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.If interested in adopting, read about our Adoption Process and complete an Adoption Application on the Mo-Kan website.  A Mo-Kan application must be filled out to begin the process.(Sending an "Inquiry" via Petfinder does not constitute an application.)   After being couped up inside for the beginning part of her puppy life, Ophelia’s eyes are now wide open to life’s possibilities. She has figured out her love languages are: new scents, any type of food, and running through tall grass. Ophelia is a smart girl, quick to pick up on cues and tricks. She is housebroken and already knows sit, shake, and lay down. She also sits and stays (on command) while waiting for her meal. Her recall abilities are progressing well. She sits patiently waiting for you to put her leash on her and is generally good on walks but her energy and curiosity can get the better of her when seeing new people or animals. When seeing new friends, she is nothing but friendly but can come on a little strong and pull towards them. She is working on curbing these behaviors. On runs, she generally stays focused and is a good running partner. At home, she loves playing with toys and can keep herself entertained with them. Ophelia enjoys a good cuddle, but at this stage in her life would rather be out exploring than sleeping on her bed. She is good in her kennel, as long as she has some toys for company. Ophelia has tried to meet many cats, but only one has taken her up on the opportunity. The kitty was showered with kisses. Ophelia has been around a dog much larger than her and is not shy or timid towards him. She has been around and played with kids but can get a little over-excited and jump up on them. Ophelia is up-to-date on all vaccinations, heartworm negative, and spayed. She’s ready for life’s next adventure. Will it be with you? Weasel is a super cute guy! He is full of love and energy. He wants to play and always wants to be by your side. He is a happy, goofy boy that enjoys being loved on and will love on you right back. Weasel is a gentle giant who wants to run and play and get his energy out, but will be ready to snuggle up on the couch right after. He is getting use to things outside of the shelter and doing amazing. He takes treats gently, will play with any toy you give him and loves his pets and belly rubs. He is a fast learner and picking up on many commands. Right now he knows simple commands like sit, lay down and come. He would make a good companion for anyone looking for a snuggle bug and someone to make them smile. Please give this guy a chance. We promise he will win your heart like he has won ours!

Tinsel's Story Tinsel is a gentle, loving pup who quickly wins hearts. He is 4.5 months old and 23 pounds. He is confident being picked up and held, and he offers lovely, intentional eye contact with his people. Tinsel does very well with the other foster dogs in his home. He is very curious about cats, so slow introductions or a dog-savvy cat would be best. Tinsel is making great progress with house training when taken out regularly and keeps his kennel dry throughout the night. Tinsel is still working on his crate training, but make great strides in settling down. He is food motivated, enjoys treats, and loves playing with toys. Tinsel will make a wonderful companion for someone looking for a sweet, playful pup who is eager to bond.
