Meet Tyson, Tyson is an 18-month-old Lab Mix that weighs 73 pounds. He has learned to shake, sit and stay. He will wait to eat until you tell him that it's okay. He has made great progress since he has been here. He would thrive in a home that is patient, structured and has a consistent routine. Tyson is very smart and learns quickly. Story
This is McMuffin. He got his name because he was picked up at our local McDonalds. McMuffin is 4 years old and weighs 49 pounds. He is heartworm positive, but as always, the rescue will take care of the treatment. McMuffin is such a beautiful boy that needs a home that only has female dogs. He just seems to get along better with them. If you are interested in giving McMuffin a second chance at a better life, please contact us.January 16, 2026, 12:53 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. “Kia” is a good girl, She loves leash walks and to be pet.  She was already spayed when she was rescued so her history is not known other than she was taken to the local kill pound for unknown reasons. A guess would be that she had been a stray and unwanted by the finders.  Too many times a rescued pet is a mystery and we have to start from scratch and build a story based on what we see.  We estimated her to be around 1-2 years old and seems like she may have been leash walked at sometime during her life, and taught to "sit." She has gotten along quite well with her kennel mate, a younger, high energy dog but would still need to be tested with other dogs in a home before final adoption, first. Approriate acclimation time would be necessary just to be sure of a good match.  But so far, she get's an "A" for her toleration of an extremely high energy kennel mate who can be a handfull. Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.  May 22, 2025, 10:41 am

Story
He is 9 years old, and I got him when he was around 2-3 months old. That would put his birthday around November-December of 2016. He's very lovable. He loves belly rubs, scratches and lots of petting. He is also very good around other dogs. The reason for inquiring about rehoming comes down to us now having a small child, and also moving into a new home. When our son was born, we decided to keep the lab separated from him for safety. We've seen horror stories online, and couldn't live with ourselves if something happened. We recently moved into a new home about 2 months ago, and our new home doesn't accommodate our lab as much as the previous home did. I want our lab to live out the rest of his life with peace, comfort and plenty of room to roam. My wife also works late most nights, and I took a job one town over. Our schedules provide limited time, and that is not fair to him. I will be happy to answer any more questions!
