Story
Look at the now pic and the day he was rescued. Elroy has been to heck and back. He is a sweet dog when he learns he can trust you but it will take some real patience. He is far better with a female then he will be with a male at least early on. He is a great dog that will be great with the person who will come into his life that loves attention and love and protection around them. He is learning potty training as you can tell he has spent his life on a chain abused tortured and neglected. He did not learn ever kindness until his rescue. He was hours from death when he was saved. He weighed 29.4 lbs when he was rescued and we thought he was going to die for weeks we worried. He wanted to live and daily he started to gain strength and trust but it took time. He was not touchable at first because he did not trust anyone not to abuse him physically. He had suffered so much physical abuse. But soon he learned through food and small pats I was trustworthy. he is a good boy and he wants love so badly. He would thrive in a home where someone is willing to learn him and gain his trust. He will bond fast when he believes in you and when he does he will protect you at all cost. He is loyal and devoted and he will protect you and if there is someone looking for a dog that will be loving and loyal and protect them at all times this is your boy. I will not lie to anyone about a dog if I know facts I am going to share them. It will take a little time. The right person might be a day or a couple days or an hour to get his attention to know that you are a safe person. So only inquire if you have it to meet him and know him. Also no pets in home and no children. If you are women that lives a lone or a couple then he would be best suited and especially if you are wanting a dog that is protective. If you have further questions please reach out if you would like more pictures reach out.

Story
Hi there! My name is Sunny (aka Sunny Bunny)I’m a 3-year-old good boy, and I think I’m probably a Lab/Pittie mix. The first part of my life, I was on my own, surviving as a stray in a small town in New Mexico. It was a little scary back then, but since coming into my foster home, I’ve been learning that humans can be kind and now I love them so much.My absolute favorite thing in the whole world is cuddling. Seriously, I’m a professional snuggler. I love curling up next to my humans any chance I get, and mornings? Those are for staying in bed, giving kisses, and soaking up all the love. If you’re looking for a shadow who will always be by your side, I’m your guy.I’m house-trained and use a doggie door at my foster home, so I might need a little help learning your routine if you don’t have one but I promise I’ll try my best. I also LOVE going for walks and I’m really good on a leash!I’ll be honest… I’m not the most adventurous pup. I’m not a mischievous, rule breaker kind of dog. I like routines and cozy days at home. New situations can make me a little nervous, so I look to my humans for comfort and guidance. When I get scared, I might cower or shake, but I would never hurt a person, I just need someone patient and kind to help me feel safe.I live with other dogs right now and I’m very submissive. My best friend is actually a tiny 5-pound Chihuahua! But I do need slow introductions with other dogs because I can be a little scared at first. I’ve had a couple of bad experiences where other dogs ganged up on me, and that made me feel like I had to defend myself. Because of that, I need to be safely managed around new dogs, and I’m crated when my foster family isn’t home. If I’m being totally honest… I would LOVE to be your one and only. I think I’d really thrive being the center of your world where I can feel completely safe and loved.Once I trust you, I’m the most loyal, loving boy you’ll ever meet. I have a big, sensitive heart, and all I want is to give love and get love in return.I’ll come with my kennel, my favorite toys, and my food. My foster family loves me so much and just wants me to find my perfect forever home. Do you think that could be with you?  ##2738711##

Story
Hero is very sweet and playful. He's a lil over 2. He can be playful and energetic and loves to cuddle or lay by your feet. He's never been aggressive toward any animal that I've seen. Just wants to play and be friends but will bark if he thinks there's danger. I can't take him with me to my new apartment so I'm needing a loving home to take him in soon.
