Hi everybody! My name is Barney, and I'm an incredibly friendly and very energetic boy! I absolutely love being outside in the yard playing and running at full speed. If you have treats, I'll even sit and stay for you! I love to chase tennis balls and I'm even starting to learn how to bring them back so you can throw it for me again. I get along pretty well with other dogs, but I'm a little unsure of cats. I would do best in an active home with a yard I can play in. Come meet me so I can steal your heart!

His best friend is Lucy who also came to the shelter. He plays well with other dogs. Per DNA his other top four breeds includes Staffie, Blue tick Coonhound. Ricky has been at the shelter for over a year, arriving in December 2022. Guessing on his weight as he refuses to get on the scales.

Brownie is a very sweet boy. He is pretty easy going as long as you do not go in his yard. He will bark at strangers. But once you show him you are not a threat he will lick you to death. He has only been around his sister, our yorkie and cat all his life so he does not really warm up to other animals. He will tolerate kids but would much rather be with adults.

Story
July 25, 2022 we took a trip to TAW where we seen a gorgeous, shy, 13 week old puppy named Pecan (for her color) who came in with her litter siblings from a mill. She had an adoption paper on her kennel, so I asked a worker about her and she informed she Pecan was waiting to be picked up. We were leaving the shelter when we seen the worker changing out the paper on Pecans kennel. I quickly paced over and inquired to find out the adoptee had canceled. I told the worker that this was the puppy I had inquired about. Nex thing you know, Pecan went from pound to our palace and we renamed her Odessa! Today she is a rambunctious, healthy two year old. She gets along great with out two cats and our older pitbull. As well as the neighbors dogs. She is so sweet but she has become more than I can handle, as she still has puppy energy with the strength of a teenager. She is stronger than me and needing a more active home, thus I feel I am no longer giving her the best life. And that's not fair.

Story
Steve and his brothers, Montel and Maury were part of an unplanned litter. They were surrendered by their owner after animal control caught them running about town. Steve is a really nice older puo that would love a family to spend some time teaching him to be his absolute best. He would be a great family dog.
