Bear is a loveable Lab/Shar Pee mix who loves water, going on walks, snuggling and playing. He came our home from one of my son's girlfriend when she moved out of her family home. She had found him on the street and tried multiple ways to find his owner w/out success. When her family stated they were going to have him euthanized, I said I would "foster" while she continued to look for another home. A year later, she is no longer my son's girlfriend and is unable to take him as she lives in a small apartment. The vet thinks Bear is about 6 years old. He is partially housebroken but needs a belly band if you want to have him indoors for any period of time. He loves to play with our other two dogs and for the most part will not bother any of the indoor cats - unless they run. I have too many animals at my home currently and need to find a good home for this wonderful boy. I am willing to drive 8 - 10 hours to rehome him to the right family.

Meet Hershey!! This chocolate girl is about a year old. We believe she is a Chocolate Lab/Pit mix. She currently weighs 47 about pounds and is done growing. Hershey is a very shy, submissive girl. We aren’t sure what all she has endured in her short life so far, but she is not very confident in herself. She is seeking a patient home that can allow her the time and TLC to open up and find her personality! To our knowledge, she has lived with other dogs before. We aren’t sure what she thinks about cats. Hershey may very well benefit from having another confident dog in her home to show her the ropes and help her find her way! We know she will be an awesome girl for someone!! Hershey is spayed, microchipped, up-to-date on vaccines and on heartworm/flea/tick prevention. Their adoption fees are $85.

Meet Goob! This big friendly giant is about 3 years old. We believe he is a Black Labrador Retriever mix of some kind. He currently weighs about 85 pounds and is still putting on some healthy weight. Goob is exactly what his name describes him to be! He is big, clumsy, goofy, loving, all things that are sure to bring a smile to your face!! He has such a big, fun personality and we know he will make someone a fantastic companion!! Goob is quite the athlete and is capable of jumping over a 4 foot fence. We have also seen him get over a 6 foot fence when he’s left unattended and wants to come find his person. Moral of the story, he would prefer to be with his person and included in the adventure!! Goob has had a few playmates here at the shelter! He seems to do better with larger dogs simply because of his size and his energy. We have no idea what he thinks about cats. Goob is neutered, microchipped, up-to-date on vaccines and on heartworm/flea/tick prevention. His adoption fee is $85.
