Story

Buck is looking for a home! This big boy will be neutered soon, and then can go home with an adopting family. Buck was left at a local vet clinic, and we can't understand why no one has come looking for him. He is a happy, healthy guy who knows Sit and Shake! He does lack some manners when it comes to jumping up- but he makes an excellent dance partner. Buck LOVES female dogs, and enjoys playing with Carebear and Mocha at the shelter. He is a young lab with lots of energy, but is able to tucker himself out with a bit of playing. Meet Vince! Vince originally came into our rescue at 4 days old with his 6 siblings. He was adopted at 12 weeks but unfortunately recently returned. He LOVES to play with other dogs so another pup in the home would definitely be ideal! He is also cat friendly. He does struggle with some house training issues as he was mainly an outside dog at his previous home, but he is working on it and getting better everyday! After you have met the dog you are interested in and decide you would like to adopt we have a two week foster-to-adopt period once he is old enough. At the end of the two weeks if you decide to adopt, you will then pay the adoption fee, & make it official!

Meet Ziggy! Ziggy is a 1 year old terrier/lab mix. He is the sweetest boy who just loves to be with his people. He plays well with dogs of all sizes and doesn’t mind cats. Ziggy would thrive in a calm household without young kids with lots of patience to allow him to come out of his shell. He’s been through a lot in his short life so it takes a bit to earn his trust. Once he’s comfortable, he is higher energy so he would love to find an active family to be a part of. Ziggy is potty trained and will sleep in his kennel or with his people all night. Ian is an extremely sweet boy that needs love and care from a family willing to give that to him. He is timid and shy at first and takes a couple of days for him to trust you but he will come around and be asking for pets. He does very well with other dogs and loves to play outside. He would do best in a home that has another dog who likes to play as well as someone who has the patience for him to come around. Gunner is about a year old and goofy as it gets. He has been under socialized and can be fairly nervous in new situations, but once he learns he can trust you, he’s your best friend. Gunner is crate trained, house trained, and gets along great with our dogs and our cat! He is still working on learning some basic commands, but he is very food motivated. He quickly learned what ‘go to your crate’ means thanks to getting a treat every time he goes in, and he literally jumps for joy at dinner time he also does well on a leash and doesn’t pull in the slightest, but he’s still getting used to the whole walking in a straight line thing… he is truly an amazing dog who deserves to find the perfect family for him! ##1653495##
