Story
🐾 Meet Snickers 🐾 1-year-old spayed female Lab mix Snickers came to us as a stray, and while no owner came forward for her, we’re sure her person is still out there — somewhere special, just waiting to find her. This beautiful girl can be a little shy at first and may seem a bit shut down when meeting new people. But give her a little patience and kindness, and you’ll see her true colors shine. Once she feels safe, Snickers transforms into a bundle of wiggles, tail wags, and pure joy! In true Lab fashion, Snickers is a big fan of treats (isn’t every Lab?) and she’s a fetch master — seriously, she could play all day. And once you earn her trust, she’ll be your loyal shadow for life. And can we talk about that sit?! Absolutely stellar. ⭐ This smart girl is eager to learn and would love a family who will keep building on her training and confidence. 🩺 Adoption Fee: $300 Her adoption fee includes: ✔ Spay ✔ Microchip ✔ Started on her core vaccination schedule ✔ Deworming Snickers is ready to find a calm, patient home where she can continue to blossom into the confident, happy dog she’s meant to be. Could that be with you? 🐶💛

Story
This 1-year-old neutered male mixed breed (we think Lab/Border Collie) earned his superhero name after a brave run-in with a porcupine — and yes, he came out with a nose full of quills and a whole lot of character! Peter is a total sweetheart who checks all the boxes: ✔ Great with other dogs ✔ Loves children ✔ Respectful of cats ✔ Fantastic manners He walks beautifully on leash, never begs for human food, and has the kind of easygoing personality that makes him an ideal family dog. One of his favorite activities? Sitting on a deck soaking up the sunshine while keeping an eye on all the neighborhood action like the responsible guardian he is. At home, Peter prefers freedom over kennels and will happily sleep at the foot of your bed at night. He doesn’t chew or destroy things when left out, but he does have a quirky hobby — hoarding shoes. Don’t worry, he won’t ruin them… he just likes to collect them! Fair warning: Peter loves helping with yard work… especially by digging in dirt (he’s a garden enthusiast), although he politely leaves the grass alone. Peter Quill is ready for his forever home. If you’re looking for a loyal sidekick with a personality as big as his heart, Peter just might be your guy. Peter's adoption fee is $300, he is started on his vaccination schedule and microchipped. 👉 Apply to adopt at www.mjhs.ca Click Adopt → Adoptable Animals and scroll to his out-of-this-world handsome face to submit your application. Can’t adopt right now but want to support Peter? You can make a donation toward his care here: 👉 https://checkout.shelterluv.com/donate/mjaw Peter says, “Every hero deserves a home base!” ⭐

Story
Meet Murphy, the energetic pup! Murphy is an 11-month-old male Yellow Labrador with a heart of gold and a tail that never stops wagging! This handsome fella is the epitome of lab energy, always ready for an adventure and to show off his good manners. He is hesitant with new people but quickly gives licks once the sniff test is done. He is young and we believe he would love to have another pup to learn and play with or be the new spoiled baby all by himself! He knows basic commands, is kennel trained and he thrives on positive reinforcement. Murphy is looking for a home where he can get lots of exercise and plenty of love. Murphy's adoption fee is $300, he is neutered, started on his vaccination schedule and microchipped. Can't adopt Murphy yourself but still want to help? You can share his post or click the following link to make a donation toward his care. Murphy says, "Thank you for your support!" https://checkout.shelterluv.com/donate/mjaw
