This sweet senior gentleman is Elmer, and he’s captured everyone’s hearts here at [Shelter Name]. Elmer is an older dog with a gentle spirit and kind eyes that tell a story — he’s calm, friendly, and loves quiet company. Right now, Elmer isn’t available for adoption as we’re giving his family a chance to come forward and bring him home. In the meantime, he’s receiving all the love, comfort, and care he deserves from our team. Story
This precious boy was found abandoned at a picnic area. He was assessed at a shelter and determined to be a lab mix (possibly even purebred) and about 4 months old. He has the webbed feet of a water fowl retriever. Super smart, a fast learner, very athletic, well behaved, playful, and eager to please. I'm in Bowie Tx but willing to drive to you for this boy to have a loving home.

Story
💕 Meet Charlotte – The Brave Heart Learning to Love Again Born at an abandoned house and left to fend for herself, Charlotte has never known the warmth of a home or the gentle touch of a loving human—until now. Rescued from a life of solitude and survival, Charlotte is slowly learning what it means to feel safe, cherished, and part of something bigger than herself. With her striking looks and strong build, Charlotte can come across as intimidating to those who don’t take the time to truly see her. But beneath that powerful presence is a heart full of untapped affection, waiting patiently for someone willing to earn her trust and show her what love really means. Charlotte is currently heartworm positive, but she’s being cared for and is under treatment with monthly heartworm prevention as recommended by our veterinarian. She’s healthy, happy, and ready to continue her recovery in a loving home — all she needs is someone to walk beside her on this journey. Charlotte is not a dog who will instantly run into your arms—but she is the kind of dog who will form a deep, meaningful bond with someone who’s patient, understanding, and committed. She’s learning every day that the world doesn’t have to be scary—and she needs someone to keep guiding her along that path. If you believe in second chances, in the beauty of watching a soul bloom, and in the reward of earning unconditional trust—Charlotte just might be your once-in-a-lifetime dog. ❤️ 📍 Available through Montague County Animal Rescue

Story
Jett is a beautiful Lab mix puppy bursting with love, energy, and the biggest heart you’ll ever meet. Despite being dumped by someone who didn’t deserve him, this happy boy hasn’t lost his trust in people or his joyful spirit. He’s playful, affectionate, and full of that classic Lab enthusiasm—ready to chase a ball, go for walks, or simply soak up all the attention he can get. Jett loves everyone he meets and is eager to please, making him the perfect companion for an active, loving family. He’s young, smart, and ready to learn, so a home willing to provide training, patience, and lots of cuddles will bring out the very best in him. Jett’s dream: a forever family who will love him unconditionally and never let him down again. If you’re looking for a loyal, playful companion with endless love to give, Jett is waiting with a wagging tail and an open heart.
