Story
I took this pup in when he was just about 4 weeks old—tiny and fragile, I didn’t even realize he was a Chocolate Lab! Fast forward 18 months, and he’s grown into a big, beautiful boy (think small horse size!). As much as I love him, our space just isn’t enough anymore—especially with four older smaller dogs who aren’t quite up for his playful energy. He deserves more room to run, play, and thrive. Ideally, he’d go to a home with a big yard or even some land, where he can stretch his legs and enjoy the outdoors. He loves kids—from babies to teens—and is gentle, loving, and goofy with them. He’s also great with other dogs, never food or dog aggressive, and is a total sweetheart. He enjoys chew toys, is kennel-trained (though it’s not his favorite place), and just wants to be around people. This boy has so much love to give—I just want to see him live his best life. If you think you can offer him the space and love he deserves, I’d love to chat and make sure it’s the right fit. 🐶💕

Story
We found Andy on a dirt road about three years ago. She has been with us ever since. We both work now and she doesn’t get a lot of time with either of us, so we feel like it’s not fair to her to just keep her in the backyard and not play with her. She is a sweet dog, has lots of energy, but she’s pretty easy to keep

Story
Animal Rescue of Crosby County REQUIRES secure and safe fenced yards or fenced areas (apartments) for all ADOPTIONS. NO EXCEPTIONS! Jackson is a Shar Pei/Lab mix. He is approximately 3.5 years old and weighs 60lbs. Jackson is a great dog but needs an experienced owner. He has lots of energy and can be mouthy. He can be corrected and wants to learn. Some obedience training would be a great benefit for him. He came into our rescue with another female dog but we believe he should be an only dog. He has not been tested with cats. Due to his excitable energy level, we do not recommend a home with small children.  ##1122493##

Story
Animal Rescue of Crosby County REQUIRES secure and safe fenced yards or fenced areas (apartments) for all ADOPTIONS. NO EXCEPTIONS! Charlie is a fun dog to be around and is very playful! I named him Charlie because he just looked like a Charlie at the time. He was found roaming the streets of Lorenzo, Texaa and was never claimed.  Charlie loves people and would be a great dog to add to your family. He can be a little rough so keep that in mind if you have small children. Charlie is also has been kenneled with both males and females. He did very well with both but we did have an aggressive female pick on him. As with any dog, he needs to be introduced properly with any other dog before an adoption can be finalized. Charlie does good in a crate and walks pretty good on a leash. We don't know much about Charlie's backstory so we are unsure if he was ever house trained. Charlie also does great eating with other dogs and have not had any incidents with food or food aggression. Charlie also loves to ride in a car! His energy level is high because he is very playful and will jump but will get down when told to do so. He has not been cat tested. ##1285604##
