Story
Animal Rescue of Crosby County REQUIRES secure and safe fenced yards or fenced areas (apartments) for all ADOPTIONS. NO EXCEPTIONS! Jackson is a Shar Pei/Lab mix. He is approximately 3.5 years old and weighs 60lbs. Jackson is a great dog but needs an experienced owner. He has lots of energy and can be mouthy. He can be corrected and wants to learn. Some obedience training would be a great benefit for him. He came into our rescue with another female dog but we believe he should be an only dog. He has not been tested with cats. Due to his excitable energy level, we do not recommend a home with small children.  ##1122493##

Story
Animal Rescue of Crosby County REQUIRES secure and safe fenced yards or fenced areas (apartments) for all ADOPTIONS. NO EXCEPTIONS! Charlie is a fun dog to be around and is very playful! I named him Charlie because he just looked like a Charlie at the time. He was found roaming the streets of Lorenzo, Texaa and was never claimed.  Charlie loves people and would be a great dog to add to your family. He can be a little rough so keep that in mind if you have small children. Charlie is also has been kenneled with both males and females. He did very well with both but we did have an aggressive female pick on him. As with any dog, he needs to be introduced properly with any other dog before an adoption can be finalized. Charlie does good in a crate and walks pretty good on a leash. We don't know much about Charlie's backstory so we are unsure if he was ever house trained. Charlie also does great eating with other dogs and have not had any incidents with food or food aggression. Charlie also loves to ride in a car! His energy level is high because he is very playful and will jump but will get down when told to do so. He has not been cat tested. ##1285604##

Story
Animal Rescue of Crosby County REQUIRES secure and safe fenced yards or fenced areas (apartments) for all ADOPTIONS. NO EXCEPTIONS! Laila and her sister Claire were picked up by the city of Lorenzo after there were complaints about the owners not caring for them. They would go days without water or food. They were picked up as puppies and were to go on transport out of state but that fell thru so they came to ARCC to be cared for. Laila and Claire were named after two girls that are a blessing to our rescue and help tremendously.  They are kenneled separate but with other dogs and get along with others. They are also great with people and love attention. They were brought in as puppies so they wouldn’t be house trained but of course that could be learned. They also do good on a leash. We haven’t seen any food aggression with either one of them and they ride great in a car. Energy level would be high since they are both still pretty young and playful. ##1289313##
