Story
Meet Mia — our quiet miracle who has waited three long years for her forever. Please watch her video... Mia came to us from a severe neglect and cruelty case, and she endured things no dog ever should. But somehow, despite everything humans took from her, she never lost her gentle spirit. Every time I look at her, all I feel is love...because Mia is love. Pure, grateful, resilient love. She’s about 5 years old now, weighs 52 pounds, heartworm negative and Chagas negative, and she has blossomed into the most wonderful dog. Mia is grateful for every act of kindness, every soft word, every moment she gets to simply be safe. She has been nothing but a good girl since the day she arrived. Mia gets along with other dogs and enjoys being part of the group, though she prefers friends who give her a little space and don’t rush into her face...she’s a laid-back girl at heart. But if she finds the right playmate, she absolutely can romp, run, and play with joy. She is also an excellent little watchdog here...alert, loyal, and always paying attention. But what Mia wants more than anything is something she’s never truly had: a kind person of her own to spend her life with. Afterfour years of waiting, she deserves to finally go home. If you think that might be you, you can apply for Mia online. She’s been patient for so long… maybe today is the day someone finally sees her. Mia is available for transport to Chelsea, MI on June 20, 2026 with an approved application. Her adotpion fee is $450 which includes the transport fee . Every dog adopted through Tracy’s Paws receives: • Chagas, heartworm, and tick testing (when age-appropriate) • All core vaccines (age-appropriate) • Heartworm and flea/tick preventatives • Regular Deworming • Spay/neuter surgery • Microchip

Story
Blitzen came from a sibling pack of six running the streets of a little town in the hill country of Texas. People were threatening to shoot them. The owner was an elderly lady and just couldn’t keep up with them. He was the bigger of the siblings and a little timid because of lack of touch. All he needs is a little one on one and he will make a wonderful companion. He’s very sweet and loves the water. Please open your home and your heart and give him the home he deserves

Story
Tito is a 3-year-old, 37-pound pup who has endured more than most. Rescued from the streets and brought to the Weslaco shelter with a severely embedded collar that was put on as a puppy and never removed as he grew. Tito spent his life on the streets after fleeing his home, before finally finding safety. Now, he’s ready for the love and stability of a forever home. Though he needs a brief warm-up period to feel secure, Tito quickly shows his affectionate side. He loves other dogs and is especially nurturing toward puppies, making him a wonderful companion for a household with another dog. Until he feels fully safe, he’ll do best with a harness and leash to help him build trust. Tito is playful, gentle, and longing for a family to call his own. After surviving so much, he deserves a home where he can finally relax, be loved, and share his loyal heart. Tito is located in our shelter in Hondo, Texas. Tito is available for transport to Chelsea, MI on June 20th with an approved applicaiton. His adoption fee is $450 which includes the transport fee. Story
Lani is a beautiful 10-month-old puppy who weighed 35 pounds as of February 22, 2026. She has grown up here at the rescue after coming to Tracy’s Paws from the border of Mexico, where someone handed her to me along with her sibling from a junkyard. She was so tiny then that she could literally sit in the palm of my hand. She is heart worm and chagas negative Lani has a heart of gold and simply wants to be close to people. She is incredibly affectionate and would do well in just about any family setting....with children, other dogs, or anyone looking for a loyal companion. She truly loves people and thrives on being near her person. We don’t expect her to get much bigger than she is now. She is also very smart. A trainer who worked with her said Lanny picked up commands like sit and other basic skills very quickly and would be a star pupil in any training class. Lanny is crate-trained, gets along well with other dogs, and is ready for a home of her own outside of the rescue where she can finally have her very own person. One of her cutest quirks is that she absolutely loves water—she’ll happily splash and play right in her water bowl. Services our dogs receive prior to adoption: Chagas Testing Heart worm and Tick Testing (age appropriate) All age-appropriate vaccines Heart worm and flea/tick preventatives Spay/neuter surgery Microchip *The breed(s) listed are guessed and based on the dog's physical appearance* If you think you might be the perfect match for this sweet girl, you can apply to adopt her online at: www.tracyspawsrescue.org Lani is located at our shelter near San Antonio, TX and is available for transport to Chelsea, MI on June 20th with approved application and confirmed adoption. Her adoption fee is $450. This fee includes transport cost.
