Sunny is 10 months old and a lab/terrier mix. We adopted her from the SPCA. She is a very sweet dog. Loves to play with other dogs and loves people. She knows a couple commands and does well in a crate if needed. :) She also loves the dog park and has many dog friends, anyone would be lucky to have this pup She will come with her bed, the rest of her food, collar, harness, leash, rabies tag, and her kong bone to help you out

I rescued Finny 3 months ago from a local SPCA. He is about 2 years old. The only stipulation about me getting a dog was he couldn't bark while I wasn't home since I live in an apartment. I fostered him for 2 weeks and he was quiet while I was gone the entire time I was fostering him. So, I adopted him. About a week after adoption he started to develop separation anxiety. Within the next several weeks, he started barking a lot while I was gone (I have a WiFi camera where I can watch him while I'm gone). I've taken him to the vet and had consultations with trainers about the barking (he only barks when I'm gone). Unfortunately, the barking isn't getting better and it is causing trouble with my apartment living situation (noise complaints). He would do well in a house and not an apartment. This is a unbelievably difficult decision for me. Finny is a extremely loving, sweet and affectionate dog. I need to find him a loving, stable home where he can have the life he deserves.

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Shadow is about 2 years old, neutered, housetrained, current on healthcare, microchipped, crate trained and cute as a button.  At only 35 pounds, he loves to lay on your lap for a little while in the evening and he’s the perfect size for it.  He knows sit, paw, down (lay down) and is extremely well behaved in the house.  Will jump on and sleep on the sofa.  Shadow is GREAT with other dogs and lives with two female canines in his foster home.  He also lived with other dogs in his previous home.  (Three dogs from this household were surrendered to the shelter due to housing problems, which is a common theme these days.)    But, Shadow’s main focus will be YOU.  He loves human attention and will cover your face with kisses.  Always so eager to please, he hates when you must leave him.  For this reason, we recommend a very sturdy crate, such as the one shown in the photos. He has destroyed the latches on lesser crates.  Shadow eats his meals in his crate, gets a peanut butter Kong in there every afternoon, and sleeps in the crate through the night, where you will not hear a peep out of him.  In the morning, he will wait patiently to be let out.  He is not a very “barky” dog, but he will let you know when a visitor arrives or a strange animal is in the vicinity.   He loves to ride in the car and does not get carsick.    He will jump right in the car and we use a harness and seatbelt for his safety.  A fenced yard is preferred.     PLEASE NOTE: This pet has been posted by Friends of Campbell County Animal Control, Rustburg, VA.
