Story
Buster is the happiest guy, looking for a wonderful home. Buster is good with new people, has been good around the few small children he's met, and enjoys training and being told he is a good boy. He is neutered, up to date on vaccines, and fully vetted - ready for his new home! He walks well on a leash, and enjoys going on little adventures with his people, or just snuggling and cuddling. This handsome boy would also love a wonderful foster home, where he can have more of the love and attention he enjoys so much! Please message us with any questions.

Story
Considering adopting? The first step is to complete our online Adoption Application at http://forgetmenotshelter.org/application Please do not call the shelter; do the application first. Harper is a beautiful young pup who came to us in need of a loving home. She’s housetrained, weighs about 60 pounds, and has shown herself to be a deeply gentle and calm companion unless she is playing, then she has tons of energy! Harper adores people once she gets to know them. She’s wonderfully good with people and other dogs, and she’s done well on her cat test—either showing little interest in cats or even seeming a bit scared of them—so she can live with felines with slow, proper introductions (as she’s still a puppy learning the world). Though she’s calm and gentle at heart, Harper can be shy and a little nervous around new people and pets at first. She’ll need a patient, understanding family who will give her time to warm up and build her confidence. Once she trusts you, she’ll blossom into the sweetest, most devoted friend. What Harper wants most is simple: a quiet, loving home where she can take things at her own pace, gentle humans to earn her trust, and the chance to be someone’s soft-hearted, loyal companion. If you’re looking for a sweet, calm, gentle young dog who will fill your home with quiet affection once she feels safe, Harper may be your perfect match. All pets arrive spayed/neutered, dewormed, microchipped and vaccinated. Adoption fee for Harper is a suggested minimum of $150 (more gratefully accepted). All pets are placed with a 30-day money-back trial period, to give pet and family enough time to discover any unknown allergies or other conflicts. Can't come to Republic? Don't let that stop you! We have monthly transports to the Seattle area, delivering adopted pets to their new owners. If you can add a little to your donation to help us cover our volunteer driver's expenses, that would be great!

Story
Considering adopting? The first step is to complete our online Adoption Application at http://forgetmenotshelter.org/ Please do not call the shelter; do the application first. Charlie is a wonderful, energetic dog who is ready to bring joy and activity into a loving home. He’s housetrained, weighs about 57 pounds, and has shown himself to be a truly affectionate and playful companion. Charlie is an incredibly loving dog who bonds deeply with his people. He adores cuddles and attention, but he does experience a bit of separation anxiety, so he’ll thrive best in a home where someone is around often or with a patient adopter willing to work on building his confidence. He gets along well with cats and other dogs, making him a great fit for a multi-pet household. One thing we cannot emphasize enough: Charlie loooooves to play fetch! It’s his absolute favorite activity—he lives for chasing that ball and bringing it back for more. However, his high energy level means he’ll need plenty of exercise, playtime, and consistent training to channel that enthusiasm positively and help him become the best version of himself. Don’t let his lumpy-bumpy head turn you away; he looks a little different due to benign dermoid cysts on his head, some of which were removed and others left in place due to a risk to his vision if removed. He doesn’t know he’s different, and it doesn’t bother him one bit! What Charlie wants most is simple: an active family to play endless games of fetch with, a cozy spot to snuggle after adventures, and humans who will give him the love, structure, and patience he needs to flourish. If you’re looking for a fun, loving, ball-obsessed companion who will keep you active and fill your days with tail wags and affection, Charlie may be your perfect match! All pets arrive spayed/neutered, dewormed, microchipped and vaccinated. Adoption fee for Charlie is a suggested minimum of $150 (more gratefully accepted). All pets are placed with a 30-day money-back trial period, to give pet and family enough time to discover any unknown allergies or other conflicts. Can't come to Republic? Don't let that stop you!
