Great news! My adoption fee has been paid by someone who loves me and wants me to find a great home. Here's what you need to know about me:I can be nervous around new people. It just takes me a little while to get comfortable. But once I get to know you, I'm very loving. If there are kids in my new home, I prefer them to be older than 6 and would like to meet them before going home. An adoption counselor can tell you more. It's recommended I meet any dogs living in my new home before I'm adopted. I just want to make sure we all get along.I'd like a home where my family is home often. I'm just really social and love spending time with people, I prefer to not be left alone for long periods.I'm available for Trial Adoption! If you're interested in taking me home for 2 weeks before making a final decision, please speak to an adoption counselor. Primary Color: Black Weight: 60 Age: 6yrs 0mths 2wks

Story
Birdie cam into my life when one of my coworkers had a oopise litter with their dogs. I helped with the puppies and fell in love with her. It’s with a heavy heart that I am deciding to rehome her, my living situation changed so much and she deserves better than being alone in an apartment for most of the day. She is goofy, loving, and so well trained. She is the princess that takes up most of my bed and needs a home with other dogs and more space for her to run around! She is a little shy with people at first due to her being physically abused in the doggy daycare I worked at by my coworkers. I would love to find someone to take her in so I can still see her from time to time but my main focus is looking for a better environment where she can just be as playful and free as she wants. She loves hikes and swimming! She’s been my adventure buddy for the past 3 years and I know you will love her as much as I do.

Story
I got Oliver 9 years ago from a Craigslist add; I was naive to the fact that he was probably too young to be adopted at that time, and so that has manifested in some behavior issues. Oliver is a great people dog. He LOVES his people, and he is good with kids probably over the age of 5. He is NOT good with babies and especially toddlers at eye level as they make him uncomfortable. He is very dog aggressive- absolutely no dogs. All this to say, Ive had him for 9 years and if it werent for just having a baby and feeling as though he is a real threat to her safety, I would keep him in a heartbeat. He is loving, and very smart. Hes very food driven and trainable. He LOVES walks very much, even runs. He would go every single day. He pulls on the leash pretty good, he could use some extra training in that department but that said we walked him often. We just want him to go to a good loving home for what will inevitably be his last few years :(

Fill out the form, save it to your hard drive, then email back to sian@gingerspetrescue.org Meet Bruno Bruno is a 4-year-old Labrador boy, weighing about 77 lbs, with a sturdy build, kind eyes, and the loyal heart his breed is known for. He was rescued from a kill shelter in South Korea, where his life was at risk — but today he’s safe and finally has the chance to find a family who will never let him go. At four years old, Bruno is in a wonderful stage of life — past the puppy chaos, but still full of energy and enthusiasm. He enjoys being outdoors, going on walks, and spending time with his people. He’s the kind of dog who wants to be part of the family, whether that’s adventures during the day or relaxing at your feet in the evening. &#226&#156&#168 Bruno is looking for a foster or forever home that will give him stability, structure, and unconditional love. With consistency and patience, he will be a devoted, affectionate best friend. Adoption Information Bruno’s adoption fee is $1,695, a non-refundable donation that helps support ongoing rescue efforts and save more dogs in need. It includes: • Neuter • Vaccinations • Microchip • Boarding and daily care • Health certificate • Transport to Seattle &#226&#156&#136&#239&#184&#143 A GPS tracker or Apple AirTag is required for all adopted dogs — you may bring your own or purchase one from us. Breed, age, and weight are best estimates and cannot be guaranteed. Ginger’s Pet Rescue is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Every adoption makes room for another life to be saved. Thank you for choosing rescue and giving Bruno the future he’s been waiting for.    February 28, 2026, 11:07 am
