Story
Lexie is an affectionate, ball-loving sweetheart estimated to be around 8 years old. Despite a difficult past, she remains trusting, gentle, and eager to love. She enjoys walks, chasing a ball, and curling up next to her favorite person — she’s a true couch companion. Lexie would do best as a solo dog, where she can soak up all the attention, but she does well with cats and previously lived peacefully with several. She is housebroken, walks well on a leash, and rides nicely in the car. Lexie is currently recovering from a flea-related skin infection and improving daily in foster care. She’s ready for a calm, loving home where she can finally feel safe and cherished. 📍 Yakima County, WA 📧 kimreno66@gmail.com

Story
APPLICATION LINK: https://shaynesrescue.com/adoption-application-pet-central-satx/ We must have an application to move forward. ASPEN is a Great Pyrenees/ Lab mix pup. We know Mom was purebred GP, but we’re not sure what daddy was. She has the conformation and short hair of the Lab. DOB 9/15/25…Weighs 24# now. Allie is the largest of the litter. May be 50-60# when grown. This entire litter is sweet, happy, playful and just loves life. They are a little shy with people at first but we’re working on that. We try to handle them as much as possible. They are gorgeous pups with a calm, happy demeanor. They will make great family pets that will like going everywhere and will love the cold weather. Their coats are short…not fuzzy so the shedding won’t be as bad. They have only seen cats from their pens…they’re puppies!!! This dog is CURRENTLY IN TEXAS and available for pre-adoption. Adoptions include neuter/spay, vaccinations (DHPP, Bordetella, Rabies), microchip, health certificate, transport with our professional dog transporter, and 6 mos of heart worm prevention. You can ask us about how pre-adoption works and our "trial period." If you have any questions or would like an e-mail from us as to how all of this works, text me (Terry); identify the dog's name and give me your email address... 210-394-6060. You can also go to our Facebook page... https://www.facebook.com/Pet-Central-SATX-866684826744181/ and LIKE us to help us out. After we review your application, we will contact you, and you'll have the opportunity to find out more from their foster family or the rescue. If you experience any issues filling out the application you can contact us directly at shaynerescue@gmail.com. This is ONLY if you have problems applying. If you have not applied, you will not receive a response so please only email if you have any issues applying. Adoption Fees The adoption fee includes transportation to WA/OR. All pups and dogs are fully vetted, spayed/neutered, microchipped, dewormed, have a negative heart worm test for all dogs over 6 months at time of transport, have a health certificate, and have all age-appropriate vaccinations. Some dogs/pups have additional medical, including but not limited to FHO, ACL, hernias, dental, and other vetting. All medical records will be provided to the adopter at the time they pick up their dog. HOW ABOUT FOSTERING! If you are not in the position to afford a puppy/dog but still want to be an important factor in dog rescue, we recommend fostering. Fostering ensures you incur no vet bills and no boarding fees while saving a life and enjoying the love of a canine companion. We are always in need of good fosters. You can sign up to foster at this link: https://shaynesrescue.com/foster-application/ This is a post on behalf of Pet Central SATX Rescue, headquartered in San Antonio, Texas, where there are over 350,000 homeless pets. We have hundreds of puppies/dogs available so there really is no need to apply anywhere else. Also, one application is good even if you are interested in several different dogs...one application no matter which one you choose. Thank you for choosing to adopt a rescue pup/dog. We firmly believe there is NO breed other than "rescue" for all species. Thank you for being part of the village it takes to save these precious lives.
