Story
Looking for a loyal companion who will truly cherish every moment with you? Meet Monarch, a sensitive soul with a heart of gold who is ready to find her forever throne! Monarch is the definition of a slow burn sweetheart who makes every milestone feel like a total victory. Once you’ve earned her trust, she transforms into a total cuddle bug who loves to snuggle up on the couch and keep her favorite person company. She’s got a brilliant mind, a playful spirit, and just enough sass to keep you smiling every single day! Lights, Camera, Action! You won't want to miss Monarch’s alert ears and the way she beats the way she master treat puzzles! https://youtu.be/UG4lp2ush0E Monarch is what we like to call a heart dog. While she might be a little reserved when meeting new faces, once she decides you’re her person, she is all in! They say the best things in life take a little extra time to prep, and Monarch is exactly like a rack of perfectly slow cooked ribs. She might start off a little firm and reserved when meeting new faces, but give her some time to warm up, and she becomes the most tender, 'melt in your heart' companion you’ve ever met. Once she’s reached that sweet spot, she’s all in! This golden coated girl turns into a total velcro dog, sticking by your side whether you’re crushing emails in the office or unwinding on the couch. She’s joyful, tender, and worth every second of the wait. We think Monarch is a gorgeous Labrador and Malinois mix! Tipping the scales at a perfect 40 pounds, she is in that "just right" size category. She’s a medium sized beauty who is big enough for real deal hugs, but compact enough that she won't take up the whole couch during your movie marathons! Like all our rescues, her breed is a wonderful mystery, but her lovability is 100% guaranteed! Monarch has been thriving in her foster home and has proven to be a total professional when it comes to kennel life! She is quiet and patient in her crate, making her a wonderful office mate or roommate. She’s also a seasoned traveler who handles car rides like a pro. She is a smart cookie who is incredibly food motivated, making her an absolute dream for anyone who enjoys the bonding experience of training and teaching new tricks! When it comes to other pups, Monarch is a quality over quantity kind of girl! She does great with confident, aloof dogs who give her space to sniff and say hello at her own pace. Once she feels safe, her fun side really shines she loves to drop into a play bow to invite a friend to romp around! She’s a huge fan of a good game of chase in the yard, making her a perfect match for a home with a medium to low energy dog who can show her the ropes. Of course, she can also thrive just as well as your one and only! Curious about how Monarch feels about feline friends? Monarch knows exactly what she likes, and when it comes to her household, she prefers to keep things "canines and humans only." This beautiful girl is looking for a cat free castle where she can focus all her attention on her favorite people and pups. She’s got so much love to give that you won't even miss having a kitty around! Because Monarch can be a little skittish in big, busy environments, she is looking for a home with a fenced in yard where she can zoom and explore safely. She’s a girl who loves her boundaries and her routine, so a house rather than a busy apartment would suit her best. One of her cutest quirks? Once she knows she’s home, she thinks the couch is her personal cloud she’s a world class napper! In short, Monarch is a brilliant, affectionate, and loyal companion who just needs a patient hand to help her blossom. She’s a once in a lifetime dog who will repay your patience with a lifetime of devoted cuddles and quiet companionship. Ready to be the person Monarch has been waiting for? Story
I am Pedro, a loving, happy, food-motivated boy who enjoys every moment of life. I love going for walks, riding in the car, and getting all the cuddles I can. I am gentle, sweet, and very affectionate. I get along well with other dogs and I enjoy being part of a family. My rescuer first saw me on a dirt road and saw that I dragged my back legs and only ran with my front ones. The owner explained that he had rescued me like that, unable to move my back legs. He allowed her to take me so I could have a chance at a better life. Since then, we have been working together to improve my mobility. I am learning to swim and I love it. I use a wheelchair to go out, and I do not mind it at all. I am a very happy dog who does not let my disability stop me.This dog is currently in foster care in La Paz, Mexico, but will be transported upon adoption or foster placement. As a U.S. nonprofit, Hope 4 La Pawz, handles all logistics and provides full behavioral and medical info in advance.

Story
I am Mamma, a shy, affectionate, and calm girl who is ready for a gentle and loving home. I enjoy simple things like playing with other dogs and taking long naps. I am not the kind of dog who needs a lot of activity. I feel happiest in a quiet home with space to relax and other friendly dogs to keep me company. My story is not an easy one. I was found on the street with my six puppies. We were all rescued together. I was abandoned after I got pregnant but I am slowly learning to trust again. Sudden movements still scare me, but every day I feel a little braver. I love playing with my daughter Bambina, and in a perfect world, we would be adopted together.I am gentle, loyal, and ready for a peaceful life. This dog is currently in foster care in La Paz, Mexico, but will be transported upon adoption or foster placement. Story
It is due to her loving energy that I find myself surrendering her. She has more energy than I do and I should have taken that in to effect when I got her. She was 8 months old when I got her and is now almost 3. Violet is playful and minds well however she has allot of puppy energy and has found creative outlets for it when I am gone. It is not realistic for me to give her the exercise and attention she deserves.
