Jordy is a 7 year old chocolate Labrador. I got him while I was stationed in Misawa Japan. He is a very loving, caring, good dog. Jordy is trained and listens very well. Jordy loves to run around and swim he needs a home with some land for him to run around on. We do not have a big enough yard for this dog. Jordy can be food aggressive at times. With a toddler and a newborn expected in November, this is a risk we are not willing to take. We are hoping someone can give our dog a good home and enjoy him like we have.

Meet Nick, a four year old Lab/Pit mix weighing 56 pounds. Nick`s story is a bittersweet one. He was originally adopted from Yakima Humane Society as a puppy, so it breaks our hearts to see him back with us now. Nick was recently brought in by Animal Control along with another dog and a cat after his owner was hospitalized. Sadly, no family members came forward to take them, so Nick is now searching for a new place to call home.If you`re looking for a calm, easygoing companion, Nick might be your perfect match. He is incredibly well-behaved and has quickly become a favorite around the shelter. Rather than causing a fuss, Nick is content to spend his days hanging out in a staff member`s office, relaxing on a cozy bed, and taking the occasional potty break.On leash, Nick is a dream. He`ll happily follow your lead and stroll along by your side without any drama. While he can be a little unsure in new situations, he`s a sensitive soul who simply needs a little time and reassurance. Once he feels comfortable, his laid-back personality shines through. Nick has shown he is house trained when he was brought home by a staff member for a sleepover. He gets along well with other dogs so far and is just an easy guy to love. He will sit on dog beds happily or if he is allowed on the couch he will find a comfy spot to hang out. We cannot say enough about how amazing this guy is and he we seriously be someone’s heart dog,Nick isn`t asking for much—just a quiet home, a soft place to rest, and people who will love him as much as he`ll love them. After losing the only home he knew, this sweet boy deserves a true second chance. If you have room in your heart for a gentle, loyal companion, Nick is ready to be your best friend.This pet is available for adoption on 6/5/2026 5:30 PM at the Yakima Humane Society adoption center. Hi! The shelter staff named me Moosetracks and I am available for adoption.I was brought in by a good Samaritan on 10/3/26.I am a spirited dog with a fun-loving personality! I am still working on my manners, so I would do best with a family who is willing to work with me and help me become the best dog I can be!I weigh 60 lbs and am considered a `large breed` dog.I am an affectionate lovebug who would be thrilled to cuddle up with you at home!I am full of energy and I love to play! I tend to calm down more when the people around me stay calm. I do best when I have lots of exercise and something to keep my mind busy.I am a young dog!! I will need to find a home where someone is available for me in these early days. It is important to be consistent with me and socialize me so I can have the best companionship with people and other animals. Young dogs require patience because everything is brand new so I will need some TLC while I learn.You can visit me at the Pet Adoption Center on weekdays from 12:00 pm to 5:00 pm, Saturdays and Sundays from 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm. Meet Clover!   Name: Clover Age: 3 years old Sex: Female (Spayed) Breed: Labrador Retriever Color: Ivory Weight: 23.7 kg (52 lbs) Height: 52 cm (20.5 in) at the shoulder   Rescue Story Clover came into care after her family could no longer care for her due to a serious health situation. She is now looking for a stable, loving home where she can settle in for good.   With People Clover is a friendly and affectionate girl who enjoys people, including those she has just met. She readily approaches both men and women, leans in for affection, and is comfortable being touched. She can also be picked up with an arm under her belly, and once she feels close to you, she’ll happily roll over and show you her belly.   With Other Dogs Clover will approach unfamiliar dogs to say hello, but she generally isn’t very interested in playing. She may join in briefly when she’s in the mood, but most of the time she prefers sniffing around or relaxing on her own.   She is gentle and tolerant with smaller dogs and will usually walk away if another dog tries to provoke or bother her. If a dog keeps pestering her to play, she may occasionally give a quick vocal correction to let them know she’s had enough. Overall, Clover is quite neutral around other dogs and is happy simply coexisting with them.   With Cats Clover’s reaction to cats has not yet been observed. A cat test can be arranged upon request.   Energy Level Clover has a low energy level and is naturally calm and easygoing. As long as she gets enough time outside for her walks and sniffing, she is generally very content to relax quietly indoors.   On Walks Clover loves stopping to sniff even more than simply walking! She has plenty of leash experience, follows her handler well, and does not tend to pull.   At Home & Other Behaviors • No food guarding with people or other dogs • No observed separation anxiety • Rarely barks • Calm when riding in a kennel/crate • Gets in and out of the car on her own • Mostly does her business outdoors   Clover may be a Labrador, but she’s definitely more of a calm-and-sniff kind of girl than a nonstop-action Lab. She loves people, is easygoing around other dogs, and is happiest enjoying a good sniff outside before settling down for a peaceful rest.   If you’re looking for a sweet, affectionate companion with a wonderfully laid-back personality, Clover might be the one for you.
