Charlotte is a young Shepherd mix, probably around 1–2 years old, who was found as a stray nearby in the Tri-Cities. She’s a gorgeous blonde girl with those big, upright ears that make her look like she’s listening to absolutely everything, and has a cute spotted tongue. She’s a really sweet girl who is housebroken, loves her toys, and has plenty of energy to spare. She’s not super food motivated, but give her a toy and you’ve got her attention! She’s still working on her leash skills and is a high-energy, fairly intense dog, so she’ll do best with someone who wants an active dog and is also willing to put some time and consistency into her training. Charlotte is a very sweet dog who wants to be with her people, and gets along well with other dogs. Although she can be somewhat dominate. She has a lot of potential and just needs someone willing to help her figure out how to be the best version of herself. 🩵 Meet Volar! 🩵 Volar is a dainty Lab/Heeler mix born June 28, 2026. Volar is still working on building his confidence, particularly around people who are standing. When he gets nervous, he may flatten himself to the ground like a tiny fawn or army-crawl his way toward a safe corner. But he’s making progress! He’s beginning to greet people on his own terms, and if you crouch down and give him a little time, he’ll slowly make his way over for some chin scratches. Once he trusts you, though? Volar is ALL about the cuddles. He would happily spend hours curled up in your lap if you let him. He’s also proving to be quite the potty-training superstar and is currently doing the best of his siblings with going potty outside. And when it comes to food, well… food is life. 😂 That should make positive-reinforcement training a very useful tool for helping him continue to build confidence. Volar is doing beautifully with the other dogs in his foster home. He’ll need a patient family who is willing to let him build trust at his own pace rather than expecting him to be instantly confident. Watching a puppy like Volar discover that the world is safe can be incredibly rewarding. He came to HART as part of an accidental litter and has been settling into foster life beautifully. Sol is an explorer at heart. He has that fun, curious puppy energy, but he also knows how to turn it off after an adventure, and he’s perfectly happy to settle in for some snuggles. He’s doing beautifully with the other dogs in his foster home and has been a great little puppy companion. Sol even willingly heads into his kennel, which is a pretty impressive puppy skill! Like any young pup, Sol will need a family ready for the fun, training, structure, and patience that comes with raising a puppy. Obi is obsessed with fetch-balls, frisbees pretty much any toy!! He gets along well with dogs around his size (prefers the ladies but laid back males are fine) and is fine with dog-savvy cats.
