Story
Purchased as a puppy from breeder who is unable to take him back. He is a 1 yr 9 month old AKC registered Black Labrador Retriever. Was neutered this April. Current on shots and taking Nexgard Plus (can provide any remaining monthly treatments depending upon when adopted). Gets along with our female dog but unknown if he will be compatible with all others. Is good with our child and visiting friends but unknown if he will tolerate all other children. He is wary of most strangers and has started becoming protective when our other dog barks at them. Requires experienced owner willing to exercise and provide training. Phoenix loves to run on farm, go for hikes in woods, play in the creek and play fetch. He is an outside dog on a farm but crate trained inside at night. Requires experienced owner. We love Phoenix who is an affectionate dog but he has started exhibiting more protective behaviors that we are not experienced enough to handle given current circumstances.

Story
Twelve-year-old Sunny has spent eight years at Little Victories. Sunny has been through the ringer when it comes to injuries -- two CCL tears, knees chocked full of arthritis, and a major fall that left her with a broken jaw and no teeth. She has been through so much, but this silly, happy girl deserves to be pain free for the rest of her days. She has a home at Little Victories for as long as she needs, but a place for Sunny to spend her final years of life would be life changing. This senior girl needs a hero.

Story
What my friends at Little Victories say about me: Molly is very energetic and enthusiastic and is very sociable with people. She likes playing with a ball and learning new things! Molly is very reactive to other dogs and has had aggressive incidents, specifically with dogs. She is a very strong, powerful girl who is difficult to manage without proper direction. With the right guidance, however, Molly is learning to be great on a leash. Because of her temperament, Molly is deeply struggling in the shelter, causing her to be anxious and drop weight dramatically. She does, however do extremely well when crated and given ample enrichment/stimulation. The best kind of home for Molly: Molly has shown that she is very receptive to appropriate guidance and enjoys clear direction. She was initially difficult to walk on a leash, but with the introduction of proper training tools, she is making great progress. She does well on low-trigger walks and would thrive in a home that could continue professional training. She could also do well in a more rural environment that allows her the freedom of being a dog without constant triggers (dogs). Molly really is such a cuddly, sweet playful dog who just needs someone who can balance her quality of life with her triggers.

Story
What my friends at Little Victories say about me: This guy is all romp and energy! Kong is always happy to a see a new face and is overall an excellent dog with a lot of spunk. He came to us when his previous owner could no longer care for him due their health issues. Kong is rarely destructive if properly supervised and does very well during routine vet trips and in the car. He loves to play catch with a disc and has lots of playful puppy energy. His favorite game is to play with other pups! The best kind of home for Kong: Kong is a great dog who will do well in most any home willing to give him some guidance. He is a high-energy herding breed mix who is looking for a family who can teach him how to be the best boy he can be. He is house and crate trained and is extremely social with other people and animals. Kong's energy level mean he will need a home with other animals who can handle his excitement as well as adopters who will manage his behavior.
