Story
Her name may say dark and mysterious, but Noir is a total lover girl with a soft, gentle presence. She can be a little timid when she first meets new people, but it doesn’t take long before she’s seeking closeness and climbing into laps for cuddles. Affection is her favorite thing, closely followed by playtime, especially when other dogs are involved. Noir has a sweet, joyful way of interacting, and those big brown lab eyes make it very hard not to fall for her. She’s done very well with house training and is settling nicely into routines, showing just how ready she is for home life. Noir's best fit: Noir will thrive in a home that offers patience, reassurance, and plenty of affection. She does great with other dogs of all sizes. If you’re looking for a dog who wants to be close, loves deeply, and is happiest curled up beside her people, Noir is ready to take that spot.

Story
Meet Sylvie! This gorgeous 3-year-old retriever mix is the total package — sweet, social, and ready to land in a forever home that can keep her safe and loved.   Sylvie’s story started in Arizona, where she was found wandering a road just as her family was preparing to move. No one claimed her, so she tagged along to West Virginia and has been an incredible companion ever since.   What she’s like: &#226&#156&#168 Friendly with people of all ages — currently living with young kids &#226&#156&#168 Enjoys other dogs and loves toys &#226&#156&#168 The perfect balance of playful and snuggly &#226&#156&#168 House-trained, well-mannered, and rides beautifully in the car &#226&#156&#168 Free-roamed indoors without chewing or accidents   What she needs: Daily exercise — this girl gets bored without some action A secure yard — Sylvie is somewhat of an escape artist and needs a home safely away from busy roads A patient adopter willing to work on (or manage) some mild food guarding Time to finish healing up her paw(she broke it while escaping a kennel) — once she’s recovered, she’ll be unstoppable   Sylvie is silly, affectionate, and so eager to belong. She’s an amazing family dog who just needs the right situation to stay safe and thrive.   If you think Sylvie might be your girl, reach out — she’s ready to love big and start her next chapter.    January 18, 2026, 3:22 pm

Story
We’ve had Maisey since she was able to separate from her mother. She is very loving and energetic and gets along with anyone she meets! She gets along with cats and LOVES kids, not super sure about other dogs as she hasn’t been around them. She has separation anxiety and is medicated for it, my husband and I both work and are unable to leave her unattended without crating her. My son has become a little rougher with her lately and she has growled a few times to warn him, but has never bitten him. Maisey has bitten me a time before when I attempted to crate her to go outside the home. She needs to be in a home with someone who can be home more often than we are able to be.
