Story
🐾 **Meet Flip — the Sweetest Soul With the Biggest Heart** Flip is the kind of dog who reminds you what resilience looks like. Despite coming from a home that didn’t treat him the way he deserved, he has chosen joy, love, and people — and he shows it with every excited wiggle of his whole body. This chocolate Lab mix is pure sunshine. He’s missing part of an ear and has a docked tail, but honestly, those little quirks only make him more endearing. His personality shines so brightly that you barely notice anything except how sweet he is. All four of his paws do the happiest little pitter‑patter when he sees someone he loves — and that’s pretty much everyone. He shakes with excitement, leans in for affection, and melts into you like he’s been waiting his whole life for that moment. Flip adores kids, gets along wonderfully with other dogs, and with a proper introduction, he’d likely do just fine with cats too. He’s gentle, friendly, and eager to be part of a family that will finally give him the love he’s always deserved. If you’re looking for a dog who will greet you with joy, trust you with his whole heart, and make every day brighter, Flip is your boy. He’s the BEST dog — and he’s ready for a home that sees just how special he truly is.

Story
Rook is a handsome guy with a thoughtful, observant nature and a soft spot for snacks. He takes a moment to take things in, but once he settles, he warms up quickly and enjoys being close to his people. He especially connects fast with women and shows his sweet, easygoing side once he feels comfortable. He is crate and house trained, great in the car, and enjoys a steady routine. Rook does well with other dogs and shows a friendly, curious interest in cats. He is also a fan of extra snacks and could benefit from a few more walks to help him feel his best.Rook’s best fit:Rook will thrive in a home that offers consistency, gentle guidance, and a little patience as he continues to build confidence. He does not need anything complicated, just a steady environment and people who will give him time to settle in and be himself. With a routine, some regular walks, and a few well-timed treats, Rook is a loyal, easy companion who is ready to find his place and stay there.

Story
Miss Posie is a super sweet 2 1/2-month old black lab mix, 16.4 lbs, in good health and has had her first round of vaccines and flea/tick/heartworn treatment. I found her on the road at my mother's house one week ago and now my mother is in the hospital and will need my focus. So, I need pretty immediate help. Posie is such a little sweetheart and will make someone a very loving companion. She is a lap dog, loves to be held, and very affectionate. She is not aggressive with my cat, who is slowly adjusting to puppy energy in the house. She is not a barker. I let her out into my fenced-in yard while I work and she quietly sleeps and plays out there most of the day. She loves playing fetch. She is pretty well crate-trained - goes in with treats and stays all night without making messes. She is not yet house-broken. I'm happy to answer any other questions if you are interested in welcoming this precious girl into your life. I have food, toys, and a crate I'm happy to donate along with her.
