Story
Katie is a low-rider with a larger-than-life personality! This adorable, long-haired Dachshund mix was rescued from the euthanasia list at Rancho Cucamongo with a broken hip and 2 fractured legs, likely from being hit by a car. Fully recovered now, Katie's a happy-go-lucky girl who’s always on the move and ready for fun. She is packed with spunk, charm, and just the right amount of sass. Katie is great with kids and other dogs, and she absolutely lives for playtime. Her favorite game? Tug-of-war! She’ll race you to the toy bin, pick out her prize, and show off her skills with pride. She’s also a bit of a goofball who loves being the boss (in the cutest way possible), and she’ll keep you smiling with her hilarious antics and energetic spirit. If you’re looking for a sweet, funny, and endlessly entertaining companion, Katie is your girl. She’s spayed, micro-chipped, vaccinated and house trained (but will need some help in a new environment). Katie is currently being fostered in San Bernadino County, CA and must be picked up from there. For adoption information, please contact AlphaDogPetRescue@yahoo.com.

Story
Carmal is a sweet 1-year-old Miniature Pinscher–Dachshund mix who was found abandoned at Chumash Park in Agoura Hills alongside his brother. Both dogs were well groomed, leading us to believe they were sadly dumped. They had no collars, tags, or microchips and were not neutered. Thanks to a kind Good Samaritan who refused to look the other way, the brothers were kept safe while every effort was made to locate their family. After posters, shelter visits, and outreach to other rescues led nowhere, we stepped in to help give Carmal the future he deserves. Carmal weighs about 12 pounds and has a gentle, shy nature that truly shines once he’s given a little time to warm up. He’s an enthusiastic and playful boy who loves running around the backyard, playing with toys, and enjoying a happy rhythm of playtime followed by cozy naps—especially with his brother. He does well with other dogs and is crate trained. Carmal loves being near his people and is quite snuggly. He’s gentle, sweet, and affectionate, and happily gives kisses. He’s very trusting with his favorite people and is food-motivated, loving treats without being pushy or protective. While he’s not fully potty trained yet, he’s making progress. He also has a classic “shadow dog” personality and enjoys following his people from room to room. He gets along beautifully with other dogs, does great with kids, and enjoys soaking up both playtime and affection. Now neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped, Carmal is ready for a patient, loving home where he can feel safe, cherished, and truly blossom. ----- Looking to Adopt? Submit a Rescue Questionnaire! Story
Meet Honey – A Sweetheart Looking for Her Forever Home! Honey is a beautiful 2-year-old, 35-pound pocket pittie with a heart full of love. She may be a little shy at first, but once she feels comfortable, she’s incredibly sweet and affectionate. This special girl walks well on a leash and has a moderate energy level—she enjoys her daily strolls and exploring the yard. Honey had an injury as a puppy that gives her a unique gait, and she also experiences some incontinence. However, she’s making great progress with potty training and will go outside when taken out frequently. Honey would thrive in a home with a fenced yard where she can safely explore. She would do best as an only pet or with a calm dog of similar size. No cats or small dogs, please. Due to her needs, a home with children aged 12 and up is preferred. Honey is ready to find a patient, loving family who will cherish her for the special dog she is. Could that be you? Fill out an application today and meet this sweet girl!
