Story
Nugget is such a sweetie!! She loves playing with toys of all kinds and is very food-motivated. She can be protective of both her toys and her food bowl, but this is something I’ve actively been working on with her since she was given to me. I took her in off the street when I had a yard for her to run in, and unfortunately this is no longer the case. She is very affectionate but can also be a little spicy at times. Loves giving hugs and kisses as well! No experience with kids, but currently has a dog-brother she likes to pick on sometimes.

Story
This friend has just arrived to us on transport from a high-intake shelter partner! When our friends are new to us, we are often unsure of their full background. Our staff will spend some time getting to know them and update their bio with more information as we learn. They are pending interactions with animals until they have been cleared by our vet. Please note that we often are unsure of house, crate, car, and leash training status upon arrival. If you are interested in adopting this dog, please submit an adoption questionnaire! Our adoption process is on a first-come, best-match basis and we are not able to hold animals. If you are interested in this specific dog but it ends up not being the best fit upon meeting, our adoption counselors will work with you to help find a match! All household members, including children and other dogs, must come along for the meeting to make sure it's a good fit. If a match is made, we encourage same-day adoptions! Our adoption fees include the animals' spay/neuter, microchip, age-appropriate vaccinations and preventatives, fecal testing, heartworm testing, and a small bag of food to get you started.
