**GUNNER`S & CHESTER`S ADOPTION FEES HAVE BEEN FULLY SPONSORED THANKS TO AN ANONYMOUS DONOR**Hello, my name is: GunnerApprox. DOB: 07/30/2016Sex/Breed: Neutered male Long-Haired DachshundWeight: 13.2 lbs Hello, my name is: ChesterApprox. DOB: 05/04/2011Sex/Breed: Neutered male Long-Haired DachshundWeight: 18.3 lbs Chester and Gunner came to All 4 Paws when their family was moving and could not bring them along. We knew we had to keep them out of the shelter system and offer them a safe place to land. These boys are ready to find a family that will love them through their golden years! Chester likes to keep an eye on you from a comfortable distance, occasionally coming over for a gentle pet and is the lazier one of the pair. Gunner, a bit more energetic, loves to play with toys and run for a bit before settling down for his own naps. He’s a snuggler, enjoying couch time. Both boys are treat-motivated and are doing well with a consistent bathroom schedule. These boys are easy-going at home, but do enjoy a leisurely daily stroll and time outside. Taking in owner-surrendered pets like Chester and Gunner – especially seniors and those with medical needs – is part of our mission. In many cases, these pets would end up in overwhelmed shelters. By bringing them directly into our foster homes, we offer immense benefits: immediate comfort, a quiet environment away from the stress of a shelter, personalized attention for their medical needs, and a chance to decompress and show their true personalities. It`s a win-win for everyone, especially for these deserving dogs who get to bypass the noise and fear, heading straight to loving care. These boys are just two of many who benefit from your support, allowing us to be a safety net for pets facing an uncertain future.Who will open their home and hearts to Chester and Gunner? All our pets are microchipped, spayed/neutered, and up to date on vaccinations and preventatives.Interested in adopting? Hello, my name is: GodivaApprox. DOB: 10/18/2017Weight: 17.6 lbsSex/Breed: Spayed female DachshundRescued From: Breeding kennelGodiva is a sweet little dachshund who’s still learning that the world can be a safe and cozy place. She’ll do best in a calm, quiet home with someone who understands her breed and can give her the time she needs to truly settle in. Having a confident small dog by her side will help her feel more secure as she figures things out. While she may be shy at first, once her walls come down, Godiva reveals her sweetest side—snuggly, devoted, and never far from her favorite person. She’s still working on her training and has plenty to learn, but with patience and love, she’ll blossom into a loyal companion who will stick by your side through it all. Please help us find Godiva the forever home she so desperately deserves! Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.OSKAR Breed: smooth dachshund Age: 8 years Weight: 15 pounds Adoption Fee: $375 Vetting Status: neutered, microchipped, up-to-date on vaccines, dewormed, heartworm negative and maintained on preventatives, recent dental ~~~~~ OSKAR is a sweet & sassy wiener who is looking to settle into a furever home.   He is a professional snuggler & loves most humans, just no small ones please!   Oskar's hobbies include sleeping under covers, sunning himself on the deck, watching TV & batting his BBE's (big brown eyes) at you for any snacks you may want to share?   Canine minions are cool and chilln' with his foster fur-brother is fun. However, very large dogs or hyper-happy alpha types who want to be all up in his face are not Oskar's cup of tea.  Oskar did have some injuries from his prior life when he came to rescue, but has fully recovered & ready to go home. His canine dentist (ok, vet) also says his teeth are in great shape.    He is housetrained and leash trained, loves to go on walks, & ride in the car.   Oskar is okay with crates, but much prefers hanging around the house & would LOVE to snuggle with you in the "big bed" at night if allowed.    Oskar would be suited to apartment living provided you agree to carrying HRH (his royal hound-ness) up & down any stairs, as all nobility should be!     P.S. If you think OSKAR is the dog for you, please fill out an adoption application today! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~  OSKAR  is available for adoption through K-9 Rescue of the  Eastern Shore.   An adoption process is required to include filling out an online adoption application available at the following link --  https://www.k9rescuees.org/info/adoption  ` Veterinary and personal reference checks, and a home visit/meet-n-greet are required PRIOR to being approved to adopt.   The time frame for completing this process depends largely on how quickly references respond, your vet office is able to speak to us (some want written permission first), your landlord or HOA (if applicable) confirms their approval for a pet, & how your schedule aligns with that of our volunteer(s) for the Home Visit. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ PLEASE NOTE ~ All of our rescue members are volunteers with many obligations. While we may not be capable of immediate response, we will respond to all inquiries and application submissions as soon as possible. Thank you for thinking adoption! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ #dachshundsofinstagram, #adoptme, #brokennomore, #sausagedogVisit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.May 13, 2026, 12:04 am

Story
Meet Sunshine: Sunshine is about a 10 year old (as of May 2026) dachshund mix that weighs about 10 pounds. Sunshine was surrendered by her owner with 2 other companions when the owner could no longer keep them. Sunshine is currently being fostered in the south and would love to take the freedom ride north to Pennsylvania to meet more prospective families. Sunshine came to us appearing to have been a well loved family pet. Sunshine is a consummate lap baby who is happiest in someone's lap or under the covers at night time. She's very gentle and would be great with kids. Sunshine is not showing her age at all. She's very active and runs around the yard with the best of them. Sunshine appears to be house trained. We would love for Sunshine to have a home with a fenced in yard for her to run and play freely. Sunshine did test heartworm positive and went through treatments. Sunshine is up to date on her shots and was spayed recently. If you are interested in sharing in Sunshine’s golden years and basking in some of her rays of light, please go to Charlie’s Crusaders website (www.charliescrusaders.org) to fill out an application. CURRENT LOCATION: Mississippi, awaiting transport to PA ##2742448##
