Harry & Carly are a Bonded Pair Looking for a Forever Home Together Meet Carly and Harry: A Bonded Pair of Best Friends! Hi there! We’re Carly and Harry, a dynamic dachshund duo with a lifetime of love to share. We’re inseparable best buds who are ready to find our perfect forever home—together, of course! About Carly I’m Carly, the spirited half of the pair! I’ve got a playful streak and a nose for adventure. You’ll often find me outside, hunting lizards, digging (BIG holes—just ask our foster dad!), and exploring every nook and cranny. I’m not afraid to get my paws dirty, and I even keep Harry’s ears clean. That’s teamwork, right? I’ve been getting more vocal lately, especially when it’s time to eat or when snacks are involved (priorities!). While I love the outdoors, I’m also a big fan of snuggling with Harry and my foster family. About Harry I’m Harry, the laid-back and loyal one. I’m all about soaking up the good vibes and being close to my people. Whether I’m lounging on the couch or teaming up with Carly to hunt in the yard, I’m happiest when I’m part of the action. I have Cushing’s disease, but don’t worry—it’s well-managed with regular care, and I use pee pads like a champ. I’m not a leash fan, but give me a fenced yard, and I’ll explore to my heart’s content. Carly’s got the energy, and I bring the calm—together, we’re perfectly balanced. Our Dynamic We’re two peas in a pod, always looking out for each other. We get along great with other dogs, big and small, and even team up with our foster sibling, Shylo (a 75-lb Wirehaired Pointing Griffon), to explore the great outdoors. We share a bed more often than not, and Carly always makes sure my ears are squeaky clean. If you’re looking for a pair of loving, sweet, and adventurous pups who will keep you entertained, we’re your perfect match. Apply to meet us today—we’re ready to bring double the love and joy to our forever home! Are you ready to make room in your heart and home for the ultimate dachshund dream team? Story
I’m Lily, a sweet 12-year-old wire-haired dachshund with a beautiful brindle-dapple coat and a heart full of love to share. A Little About Me I might be a senior gal, but don’t let my age fool you—I’ve still got a spring in my step and a love for life! Walks are one of my favorite things. I’m great on a leash and enjoy exploring the world at my own pace. Car rides? Yes, please! There’s nothing like feeling the breeze as we head off on an adventure together. When it’s time to relax, I’m happiest curled up in my cozy dog bed. I’m house-trained, easygoing, and great with other dogs, cats, and older children. I’ve got a gentle soul and a big heart that’s ready to bond with my forever family. A Work in Progress I recently joined my foster family and am still getting the care I need to feel my very best. I haven’t seen a vet in a while, so I’ve got some catching up to do. My teeth need attention, I have a little growth on my head, but my foster family is making sure I’m getting all the love and care I need. Despite everything, I’m a trooper. My tail wags, my spirit shines, and I’m ready to face each day with a lot of spunk! My Ideal Home I’m looking for a family who will shower me with the love and care I deserve. Someone who will take me on leisurely walks, enjoy car rides with me, and give me a warm bed to sleep in at night. If you’re ready to open your heart to a sweet, resilient senior girl like me, I promise to fill your days with love, companionship, and a little bit of dachshund charm. Keep an eye on me—I’ll be ready for adoption once I’ve had my vet care and a chance to get back to feeling my very best! Story
Sugar is the kind of dog who loves a chance to show how fast she is, but also enjoys relaxing in a comfortable soft spot. She's a lover for sure and always ready to cuddle with anyone who's willing. If she could get rubs all 24 hours in the day she would certainly not object! The best home for her has either 1-2 people who will love her and give her opportunities to get active (mind & body) OR a family home with a child/children she can continue to grow with. For the parent(s) she will be your baby, but she will be a big sister to the child(ren). She works well with children and recognizes that they are fragile, which is always so awesome to me! She will be gentle with them and always look for cues from them and her pack leader to know what the boundaries are and when it's okay for her to engage with them, no matter how difficult it is sometimes for children to do the same. I may seem biased, but adults and children who are even afraid of dogs have LOVED Sugar Booger Bear Brown!
