Story
Meet Chester: Your Future Tiny Tyrant Listen… we’ve written a lot of adoption posts. We've done our best to keep things pawsitive for all our adoptables, but Chester deserves a legendary introduction, and we are here to deliver. At first glance, he’s a 20-pound cutie with big eyes and a “take me home!” face. Do not be fooled. This is a land shark in a dog suit. Chester is the kind of dog who was clearly told he was perfect one too many times. Boundaries? Never met her. Rules? Not in his house. Your stuff? Also his stuff. Want to crate him? You'd have better luck wrestling an alligator back into the swamp. Chester’s hobbies include: *Fluffing his mohawk to up his street cred *Testing your reflexes *Staring into your soul to see if you’re weak *Being 20 pounds of unearned confidence He needs an adult‑only home and someone who can look him dead in the eye and say, “Not today, sir.” Think Mother of Dragons energy, but with treats and structure. The good news? He loves men. Perhaps a lifelong bachelor could continue his education in “How Not to Be a Tiny Menace 101.” Chester isn’t for everyone. He isn’t even for most people. But for the right, brave, chaos‑loving human, he might just be the funniest, spiciest little project you’ve ever taken on. Serious inquiries only. No, we will not make exceptions. No takesy‑backsies (okay fine, but please don’t). Chester is a Dachshund/mix who was was born approximately 11-19-18. He is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, given flea/tick preventative, dewormed, tested heartworm negative and started on heartworm prevention. Adoption fee is $250 to help offset the many expenses we have for vetting costs. We rely strictly on adoption fees and donations to continue to save the lives of orphaned & abandoned pets; 100% goes towards their care. ***If you are serious about adopting, you must first complete and submit an application on our website. Our Adoption Team will respond via email from DollysLegacyAdoptions@gmail.com once you have completed an application. If a pet is still listed, it is not yet adopted as we update daily. All information regarding adoption policies are on our website***
