Story
We are looking to rehome our 8-month-old intact male Great Pyrenees (75% GP and 25% Anatolian Shepherd) livestock guardian dog to an experienced home. He has been raised around sheep and young children on our small homestead and has strong guardian instincts, but he is still very much in the adolescent training phase. He would likely do best with: * experienced LGD owners * a larger property/ranch * secure fencing * other working dogs or livestock experience He is protective, alert, active, and needs more consistent training and structure than we can realistically provide in our current season of life with very young children and a newborn due soon. We want to find the RIGHT fit for him where he can thrive and continue developing into a successful working dog. Please message me if you are experienced with Great Pyrenees/LGDs and think you may be a good fit, or if you know a local rancher/farm looking for a young guardian dog. Located in Placerville. $100 rehoming fee.
