This curiously friendly gentle giant has the sweetest soul and the floppiest ears you’ve ever seen. Moose is a laid-back, loving pup who’s happiest when he’s cuddled up beside his humans. He loves squeaky toys, a good wrestling match with his dog buddies, and exploring the world around him—but when playtime is over, he’s all about burrowing into a cozy bed for a well-earned nap. With his balanced, easygoing energy, Moose is the kind of companion who can settle beautifully into a wide variety of homes.Moose is a social butterfly in a big puppy body! He adores playing with his doggie siblings and has gotten along famously with every dog he’s met—just one quick sniff and you’re in his inner circle. He’s also done wonderfully with neighborhood kids (ages 6–9), happily joining in their play and soaking up the attention. While Moose hasn’t met a cat just yet, his gentle and friendly nature suggests he could do well with a dog-savvy feline friend given proper introductions. This handsome boy is as smart as he is sweet. Moose already knows how to sit on command, walks nicely on a harness, and is crate-trained. He’s still working on perfecting his house manners, but with consistency and love, he’s well on his way to becoming the ultimate well-behaved companion. Moose truly has the biggest heart and is ready to share it with a lucky family.Choose Moose!! This lovable goofball will wag his way right into your heart the second you meet him. Please Note: All dogs are posted on our website until they are officially adopted. Story
Meet Elsa! Much like her Disney princess namesake, Elsa the dog considers herself royalty and is in search of her next fairytale! Elsa`s been through a lot of transitions ands changes the past several months of her life, and is looking for a home that can give her a stable and predictable place to settle in. While Elsa is sweet and silly with her friends, she can struggle with meeting new people. She barks to show her discomfort when she is not ready to greet someone. Elsa has been able to make friends here at the shelter, and is a happy, wiggly girl with te people she knows! She also loves romping around the yard with toys and getting silly during play. Because Elsa`s a sensitive soul, she`s looking for a home that is able to support her needs and move at her pace. With patience and understanding, Elsa will come out of her shell and show her silly side to adopters just as she has done with her shelter friends. Elsa`s still a young adolescent lady learning about the world, so adopters should be prepared to do a basic training refresher as well. It is reported that Elsa lived successfully with older kids and small dogs in a previous home, but we don`t have much information on what that looked like. Kids and dogs would be asked to come in and meet Elsa prior to take home. If Elsa sounds like a good fit for you family, please come in and say hello! She wil melt your heart!
