Meet Reba! This pretty puppy is equal parts gentle soul and curious creature - the kind of puppy that makes you stop and smile at her adorable manner. She’s not over the top energy. She’s the perfect blend of calm, loving, and playful. Reba is polite with all beings - she lives in a foster home with other dogs of all sizes, felines big and small, and she absolutely loves her humans! She does well in a crate and on leash. She’s nearly mastered potty training, as long as she is let out consistently, she’ll be a pro in no time! Snuggles are her favorite, so are collecting her humans shoes… and it’s the cutest thing. She enjoys romping around the snow with her canine siblings and taking over the entire couch for a good nap! Reba can’t wait to win you over with her charming personality, she’s going to make a lucky someone very, very happy.

Though she can be a little shy at first, watching her come out of her shell is a truly rewarding experience. In just a short couple of weeks she has transformed from a nervous wallflower into a brave, playful companion who is ready to conquer the world! A Brainy Beauty Emerald is "ridiculously smart" and a literal star student. She is already mastering her leash manners, learning to walk politely at her foster’s side and waiting patiently at the door for an "okay" before heading out. She is crate trained and making incredible progress with house training—she's a fast learner who is eager to please! Mellow & Playful While she has that classic puppy energy (and the adorable "zoomies" to prove it!), Emerald is surprisingly mellow for her age. Whether it’s the Great Pyrenees in her or just her naturally chill soul, she’s a gentle girl who enjoys the quiet moments just as much as the fun ones. Social & Sweet Emerald is a social butterfly in the making: • Dogs: While she was a bit vocal at first, she has officially started engaging in play and loves her 10-foot lead for outdoor adventures. • People: She is deeply drawn to humans. When she feels unsure, she immediately looks to her person for reassurance and eye contact—a sign of a deeply loyal dog. • Kids & Cats: She is wonderful with toddlers and feline friends alike! The Perfect Match Emerald is looking for a family that will continue her socialization and training. She is the type of dog who doesn’t just run away from her fears; she faces them head-on and conquers them. If you’re looking for a brilliant, resilient, and affectionate companion to grow with your family, Emerald is your girl. Emerald’s adoption fee is $425 plus MN tax which covers her spay, vaccinations appropriate at the time of adoption, microchip and any additional medical care she may have needed while in the rescue’s care. We are a foster based rescue, we do not house dogs at a facility. Age and breed are NLR's best guess as we often don't know who or what mom and dad are.
