Story
Luke, Lola, Landon, and Luna were found by the police after wandering loose for days through a rural area. We don`t know their full story, but they arrived at our shelter with painfully matted fur, dirty, and hungry. They have since been fully vetted, nourished with regular meals, and showered with love by our staff and volunteers. They`re now ready for their lives to change completely! These sweet, 1-year-old pups range from 50-60 pounds and, based on our staff`s extensive knowledge of livestock guardian breeds, appear to be Pyrenean Mastiff mixes. Though quite frightened when they first arrived, gentle care and a whole lot of love have helped them open up into playful, goofy, and affectionate pups. They`ll happily roll over onto your lap for belly rubs and do giddy prances through the grass! Intelligent and beautiful, these dogs are just waiting for a chance to learn from and adore a family. They`re sure to be wonderful, loyal companions to their future people.Luke, Lola, Landon, and Luna are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up to date on their vaccines. You can visit them at The Babinski Foundation Animal Shelter in Pequot Lakes, Minnesota, Tuesdays through Saturdays from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm or Sundays from 12:00 to 5:00 pm.

Story
🤍 MEET JACK 🤍 (The smile says it all.) Four months ago, Jack and his sister were picked up from a high school parking lot — two young Great Pyrenees with no plan and no place to go. Jack hasn’t let that dull his spirit one bit. He is happy. Playful. People-loving. The kind of dog who sees you and thinks, “Oh good, my friend is here.” ✔️ Neutered ✔️ Kid tested (13 yrs old) and passed ✔️ Dog friendly ✔️ Cat tested and passed ✔️ Social, affectionate, and full of personality Jack does get excited — he may try to jump up to say hello — but he responds when corrected. He just needs someone willing to guide that big lovable heart. He plays great with other dogs, adjusts his pace well, and truly just wants to be part of whatever is happening. He started out in a parking lot. He deserves a yard to roam. A couch to claim. A family to guard and adore. If you’re looking for a loyal, joyful, larger-than-life companion — Jack is your guy. Let’s get this boy home.

Story
Adahy ~ meaning “in the woods.” Adahy’s rescue story begins in the woods. Nobody knows how long he was living in the trees, barely surviving. Being eaten by fleas, demodex, ticks, etc. No dog deserves to be thrown out and dumped like trash, but how could someone neglect their old senior dog like that? His story begins on the woods, but it continues in the comfort of a home with a loving family.

Story
Meet Reba! This pretty puppy is equal parts gentle soul and curious creature - the kind of puppy that makes you stop and smile at her adorable manner. She’s not over the top energy. She’s the perfect blend of calm, loving, and playful. Reba is polite with all beings - she lives in a foster home with other dogs of all sizes, felines big and small, and she absolutely loves her humans! She does well in a crate and on leash. She’s nearly mastered potty training, as long as she is let out consistently, she’ll be a pro in no time! Snuggles are her favorite, so are collecting her humans shoes… and it’s the cutest thing. She enjoys romping around the snow with her canine siblings and taking over the entire couch for a good nap! Reba can’t wait to win you over with her charming personality, she’s going to make a lucky someone very, very happy.
