Mylo was brought to The Babinski Foundation after another Minnesota rescue helped his owner recognize that she could no longer provide the care he and his puppies needed. Due to extreme hardship, the property had fallen into disrepair, leaving the dogs to survive in unsanitary conditions both indoors and out. The dogs were surrounded by their own waste, which severely stained their fur, and it was reported that their water supply had broken three days prior to their surrender.Upon arrival, the dogs were severely dehydrated and thin. Through slow, careful nourishment and dedicated care, they all improved. While Mylo`s puppies have found homes, he`s still looking! He`s a classic guardian dog with protective instincts and a love for people! He truly enjoys exploring, smelling, and being outdoors. He also enjoys treats, butt scratches, and other dogs if they`re relaxed and submissive.

Adahy ~ meaning “in the woods.” Adahy’s rescue story begins in the woods. Nobody knows how long he was living in the trees, barely surviving. Being eaten by fleas, demodex, ticks, etc. No dog deserves to be thrown out and dumped like trash, but how could someone neglect their old senior dog like that? His story begins on the woods, but it continues in the comfort of a home with a loving family.

Meet Gumby! This stunning girl is searching for a family to love! Gumby is a 4-year-old Great Pyrenees mix that was surrendered due to some changes in the previous owner`s lifestyle. She is a very calm dog with a loving disposition. Gumby is a guardian breed and her adopter should be familiar with the independence of this breed. She lived happily with other dogs, cats, and kids in her previous home. She is loyal and will bond with her people, especially if she doesn`t have a `job` other than her people. Gumby has spent some time up in our office area and has proven to be the best girl! She just naps right at your feet all day long. She is good with all touch, nail trims, potty trained too. She’s the perfect blend of calm, loving, and playful. Reba is polite with all beings - she lives in a foster home with other dogs of all sizes, felines big and small, and she absolutely loves her humans! She does well in a crate and on leash. She’s nearly mastered potty training, as long as she is let out consistently, she’ll be a pro in no time! Snuggles are her favorite, so are collecting her humans shoes… and it’s the cutest thing. She enjoys romping around the snow with her canine siblings and taking over the entire couch for a good nap!
