*Ciaro is in a foster home. Once you have an approved application, you will be contacted to set up a meet and greet.**Applications will be prioritized by complete applications first.*Ciaro will not be permitted to go to a home with children. We also advise he should not go to an active home with a lot of visitors.Ciaro does do well with cats and other small dogs.Meet Ciaro, a 1‑year‑old male Lhasa Apso who recently came to us as a surrender. Ciaro isn't the type to bond instantly-he's a thoughtful, cautious little guy who needs time to feel safe with new people. But once he decides you're his person, his loyalty runs deep and he loves wholeheartedly.His future family should be prepared for regular grooming needs, as Lhasa Apsos require consistent coat care to stay comfortable and healthy. Because he's still settling in, we're not yet sure how he feels about other dogs or cats. Best for a home without kids. Right now, our focus is helping him build trust and confidence in his new environment.Due to his shy nature, we're limiting meet‑and‑greets to serious adopters who understand that patience is key with a sensitive dog like Ciaro. He is fully up to date on vaccines and will be scheduled for neuter surgery.If you're someone who appreciates a slow‑burn bond and the joy of earning a dog's trust, Ciaro may be the perfect match. Please read the bio of the rescue you are interested in to insure you are a match if you are a match the first step is to complete the online adoption application  Gidget is a small 12 pound bichon female. She is a retired breeder so will need to learn all about how to be part of a family.  She is on the shy side so will need love and patience. She is very sweet and has now started giving kisses.  She is up to date on rabies and distemper vaccines,  tested for heartworm negative and now current on preventatives,  microchipped and spayed. She will need another small dog in the home for companionship as that gives her the comfort she needs.  If interested in possible adoption please go to www.DelawareRescue.com and complete the online adoption application Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.
