🐾 Meet Kirin – The Sweet Little Lhasa Apso Looking for His Forever Home! 🐾 Hi friends! Please welcome Kirin, an adorable Lhasa Apso who we believe is 3 years old or younger. This fluffy little guy has the biggest heart once he feels safe and loved! Kirin is a very sweet boy who loves nothing more than rolling onto his back for those glorious belly rubs. He’ll happily take treats from your hand and slowly but surely starts seeking out affection as he warms up to you. He’s gentle, charming, and has that classic Lhasa Apso cuteness with all the fluffy charm! We’re working with him on getting comfortable with being picked up and having his leash put on (he’s making progress with desensitizing and positive training!). He came to us as a stray, so we don’t know a lot about his past, but what we do know is that he has so much love to give once he trusts you. If you have the patience, kindness, and time to help a shy-but-sweet boy blossom, Kirin could be your perfect match. Meeko is a 7 yr Lhaso Apso. This boy originally was purchased in a pet store and has had the same family all these years but unfortunately a younger child has become allergic to the dog. He is hypoallergenic, so I am not sure what happened there. Unfortunately Meeko lost his home. He is very overweight and needs to lose about half his body weight. This can easily be done by portion control and stop giving human food constantly. We have him on a diet. He is a nice boy who just wants to be where you are. He likes attention. Gets along with dogs and kids and even cats. He is a bit depressed currently since he lost his family but he is a very low maintenance boy. Adoption fee is $250 which helps cover all of the medical for all of the dogs in the rescue. All dogs are spayed/neutered, vaccinated and micro chipped and many have received further treatment for such conditions as lump removal, severe ear infections, dental cleanings, bloodwork, leg injuries, etc.. We do out of state adoptions but require a submitted application, a home visit (sometimes we cannot get this done and then we can not adopt), and the adopter must come to Las Vegas to meet the potential dog(s), possibly adopt, and then drive the dog back. Disclaimer: The SNBRF has the right to deny applications based on our adoption policies established for the consideration of the health, safety, and well-being of the dog. Beagles can have a lifespan of 15-18 years. Therefore, beagles or any other breed who are under 3 years of age will NOT be adopted to anyone over the age of 62.
