Story
Meet Happy Dog Formerly known as Bastille at the shelter, Happy came to us at just 8 pounds, nothing but skin and bones. He was rescued by the Paw Patrol LV Search & Rescue team, and he has come such a long way. He is now a healthy 14 pounds and looks amazing. And honestly? His name fits him perfectly. Happy is truly one of the happiest dogs his foster has ever met — and she has fostered a lot. Happy loves other dogs and would do especially well with another playful pup in the home. He walks nicely on leash, though he could still use a little guidance as he continues learning. He is very interested in cats, but he does not have an aggressive bone in his body with animals, so with patience and proper introductions, we believe he could adjust. With new people, Happy can be a little slow to warm up — but once he knows you, the love begins. The devotion this boy has for his people is so special. Every time he sees you, his whole face lights up. He wants to lay on you, be pet, press his head into your chest, and look into your eyes like he’s reaching straight into your soul. We have no idea how this sweet boy ended up on the streets in the condition he was found in, because the love he has to give is so real. Happy will do best in a patient home that understands he is still learning to trust. He needs people who will allow him to meet new friends on his own timeline — which, honestly, usually only takes about 30 minutes. He is doggie-door trained and doing great with potty training, with hardly any accidents anymore. The shelter had him listed as 11 years old, but we believe Happy is closer to 3–4 years old. He has playful, puppy-like energy, but he also knows how to settle down and relax. Happy is truly special. His foster says if she could keep another dog, this would be the one. Total foster fail material. Interested in meeting Happy? Please fill out an adoption application https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSdc9IlMzlBqTTpXA9n5-AGb7XoE2Ru0ypKCP1q3VjNRGWloOQ/viewform

Story
Meet Meeko! Meeko is a sweet 7-year-old Lhasa Apso who has been with the same family since he was purchased as a puppy from a pet store. Unfortunately, he lost his home when a young child in the family developed allergies. (He is hypoallergenic, but sometimes life just throws curveballs.) Meeko is a gentle, low-maintenance boy who simply wants to be wherever you are. He loves attention and is happy to follow you from room to room. He gets along well with other dogs, kids, and even cats, and enjoys light playtime without being overly energetic. Right now, Meeko is quite overweight and needs to lose about half his body weight for a healthier, happier life. We’ve already started him on a proper diet with portion control and no more table scraps. With consistent healthy eating and some gentle daily activity, the weight should come off steadily. This affectionate little guy is easy to care for and would make a wonderful companion for someone who wants a calm, loving lap dog. If you’re looking for a sweet, laid-back guy who will adore being part of your everyday life, Meeko is hoping you’ll give him another chance at a forever home. Adoption fee is $250 which helps cover all of the medical for all of the dogs in the rescue. All dogs are spayed/neutered, vaccinated and micro chipped and many have received further treatment for such conditions as lump removal, severe ear infections, dental cleanings, bloodwork, leg injuries, etc..                        We do out of state adoptions but require a submitted application, a home visit (sometimes we cannot get this done and then we can not adopt), and the adopter must come to Las Vegas to meet the potential dog(s), possibly adopt, and then drive the dog back.      Disclaimer: The SNBRF has the right to deny applications based on our adoption policies established for the consideration of the health, safety, and well-being of the dog. Beagles can have a lifespan of 15-18 years. Therefore, beagles or any other breed who are under 3 years of age will NOT be adopted to anyone over the age of 62. For individuals who are 70 years of age and older, the dogs must be 8 years or older  For more information or to submit an adoption application, please visit our website at http://www.southernnevadabeaglerescue.com . We are also on Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/SouthernNevadaBeagleRescueFoundation . Come meet and play with our available dogs at Las Vegas area dog parks. Times and locations can be found at http://www.meetup.com/beagles-207/ . Contact us or check our Facebook updates ahead of time if you are interested in meeting a particular dog. All our dogs are in foster homes so not all are available to attend all our park meetups. Our meetup group playdates allow you to socialize your beagle with his/her own breed at dog parks with large fenced areas where the beagles can run and play off-leash. Beagle enthusiasts, come bay with us..... AROOOOOOOOOOOO!  May 12, 2026, 7:21 pm

Story
Hi my name is Ginger and I'm a sweet young girl looking for my furever home. I came from a home with too many dogs and I got along with everyone but now it's time for me to find my own family to love and snuggle with. I may be a little shy at first but I'm learning what it's like to have humans as best friends and with a little time I know I'll figure out the best place for a nap is in your lap! I'm looking for a kind and gentle family that will show me what it's like to be loved and cared for as your loyal companion and best friend so I can have a family of my very own. If you think a sweet girl like me can come join your family I know I'll win you over with my stunning good looks and kind personality. Please come visit me at Never Forgotten Animal Society in Pahrump, Nevada, I'm looking forward to meeting you!Our pets are "New Home Ready", meaning adopted animals are spayed/neutered, vaccinated including rabies and have a microchip. These services are all included in our adoption fee.NFASI is open Monday through Saturday 10am-5pm and hold adoption events periodically around the Pahrump area. Please call to confirm the pet you are interested in is still available (775) 537-8674 and onsite (or we can make arrangements for their Foster Parent to bring them in).Foster homes & volunteers are always needed please contact us regarding how you can foster or volunteer for our organization.
