Lucky's Story: From Survivor to Sweetheart Lucky has already used up one of his nine lives, and now he's ready for the happy ending he deserves. Lucky and his doggy friend were spotted wandering near a lake for several days before animal control was finally able to reach them. When they arrived, it was clear that Lucky had suffered a serious coyote attack and needed emergency medical care. He was rushed to the veterinarian, where he received a lifesaving blood transfusion. Once he started feeling better, his sweet personality began to shine through. Today, Lucky's wounds have healed, his strength has returned, and he's ready to find a family of his own. This resilient little guy is incredibly affectionate and loves being close to his people. He has the cutest little yodels and conversations, always eager to tell you about his day. Lucky enjoys car rides, gets along well with other dogs, and is learning that leashes aren't so scary after all. Like many dogs who have had to fend for themselves, Lucky prefers to enjoy his meals without sharing and would like to be fed separately from other pets. He also isn't interested in sharing his food, which is easy to manage with a little structure. Despite everything he's been through, Lucky remains a loving, happy boy who greets each day with optimism and a wagging tail. Gizmo is a goofy boy who wants to love you but expects things to be his way. He is typical for a lhasa with a little bit of tude (lhasatude) so will need an owner that understands by being a true leader. If this role isn't obvious, he thinks he has to do it and that role is too much for a doggy to have.
