Story
Gizmo is a goofy boy who wants to love you but expects things to be his way. He is typical for a lhasa with a little bit of tude (lhasatude) so will need an owner that understands by being a true leader. If this role isn't obvious, he thinks he has to do it and that role is too much for a doggy to have. If you have experienced this with dogs, you know it is awesome when you carry the role and have a loyal follower at your side.

Story
Bubba is a 10-year-old sweetheart weighing 17 pounds with a gentle, loving, and surprisingly spunky personality. He is great in the car, walks nicely on a leash, and absolutely adores being around his people. Bubba thrives on human companionship and quickly becomes your little shadow. Although Bubba experienced terrible neglect in his past, all he wants now is to be loved and cherished—and he gives that love right back. Despite everything he’s been through, he remains incredibly sweet, funny, and eager for affection. Bubba does have some marking behaviors, but he knows to go potty outside, so this is likely temporary as he settles into a new home. He does well with other dogs that have calm energy, or he would be perfectly happy as a solo pup, as long as he isn’t left alone for long periods. Bubba is ready for a home where he can finally feel safe, valued, and adored. If you’re looking for a loyal companion with a big heart, Bubba is waiting to give you all of his love.

Story
I got Fletcher when he was 4 years old from The Humane Society in Boulder, Colorado. He was found roaming with another dog and therefore didn't come with any history. He is a very lazy boy. His favorite past time is carrying his squeaky toys around the house, then laying down to nap with them. He isn't a snuggle buddy; he wants to be near you, but not necessarily touching. He is very aloof, and slow to warm up to people. He can be very apathetic. In this way, he is good with other dogs, cats, and kind people. He simply wont care and will do his own thing. He is terrified of thunderstorms. Fletcher has separation anxiety. Even though we have had the same routine for years, he still protests being left alone. Being a small breed and having anxiety and aging, Fletcher has been wearing diapers inside the house for 2 years now. If you are looking for a calm, quiet dog that can accompany you on errands and road trips, this is the one! He prefers calm households.

Story
Keke is a very special girl. She will do well in a home with a medium sized family or one single peson that does not mind her clingyness. She is not house-trained so she will need to either be trained or be taken outside at LEAST twice a day. For this reason, I highly recommend someone who is active or outdoorsy. Our walks can range from 5 minutes to an hour. She doesn't really like the rain when the grass is wet however if she has to go she will. When I first got Keke from the shelter, I was lucky in the sense that she could eat almost anything; however, nowadays she is a little more picky, especially if she smells or sees a better option. I homemake her own food using pasta noodles, ground turkey, chicken hearts, veggies, and supplements; however, she also really enjoys the Just Food for Dogs BOXED food. She will eat dry food as a LAST resource and doesn't really like any of the store brand wet foods (to my knowledge). Would be great with a family/person with one other SMALL dog.
