Hi, I’m Duncan — Your 27‑Pound Senior Snuggle Specialist Hello, world. I’m Duncan, a 9‑year‑old, 27‑pound, black‑and‑white terrier mix who is officially ready for my retirement home. Yes, I’m a senior. Yes, I’m adorable. Yes, I fully intend to hog your bed and your heart. I’m a polite gentleman who walks beautifully on a leash. Crates? Never used one. Don’t need one. I do great in the house like the civilized king I am. I handle my potty business outside but heads up — I’ll need a belly band at first while I adjust to your schedule. I’m a senior; I like routine. I’m incredibly social and get along wonderfully with my foster brothers and sisters. I’m also cat‑friendly, which means I’m basically perfect. I’m good with kids too, but let’s be honest — I prefer older children who won’t interrupt my relaxed senior pace with sticky fingers or sudden chaos. What Makes Me Iconic • The Ultimate Snuggle Bug: I sleep right in bed next to you. And yes, I hog the covers. I have no shame. • Animal Planet Enthusiast: I love watching Animal Planet and will “talk” to the TV. It’s hilarious. I’m basically a critic. • Doorbell Correspondent: I’m not a big barker, but I will proudly announce when someone is at the door. • Foster‑Sibling Approved: I love hanging out with my canine foster siblings. Toys? Meh. I’m above them. Health Note I’m heartworm positive, but don’t panic — I’m on the safe, easy “slow kill” treatment. I just need a family who will keep up with my monthly preventative while my body does the rest. I’m currently living in Hampton, VA, but I can be transported to other states if my perfect retirement home is waiting for me. A transport fee may apply if volunteer transport isn’t available. If you’re looking for a sweet, affectionate, TV‑commentating, cover‑hogging senior gentleman who just wants a cozy couch and a loving human, I’m ready for you.

We got Baleada from a breeder in Virginia. He is full of energy and needs attention and love. We have busy work schedules and school in which our time is limited to give him the attention he needs. He is good natured and loves to be outside and go on walks. We are hoping to find a new owner in which he will be loved and cared for and giving all the attention he deserves.
