Story
Hi I'm Blossom!Aren't I the cutest little thing you've ever seen? I can take time to warm up to new people, but once I decide that you are a safe person I will show you what a loving personality I have. My sister Lexi and I have lived together for a long time, so we need to be adopted together. We do have experience living in a calm home, but will still need some house training as we get used to a new home and routine. If you have a quiet home and think we are the perfect little girls for you, then come and meet us today! No appointment necessary!Meet me at AAWL's Main Shelter!25 N. 40th StPhoenix AZ 85034602-273-6852Adoption Hours:Monday - ClosedTuesday - Friday & Sunday - 11:30am - 6:00pmSaturday - 10:30am - 6:00pm.AAWL requires that all adopted dogs leave with a leash and collar and all cats leave in a carrier.

Story
Please contact Constance (connibouchard@gmail.com) for more information about this pet.Rescued dogIf you are interested in me after reading about me, please visit my site, http://www.breederadoptions.org and follow the instructions. The majority of the dogs we rescue, mostly breeder dogs, have lived their entire lives in less-than-ideal conditions so will need to be socialized, house and leash trained. Most have never lived in a house, walked on a leash, had a treat or sat in a lap. For many of them, their feet have never touched the ground after living for years on wire until they arrive at our main facility where they are evaluated, groomed and given vet care. Most of these dogs are not socialized and need to be cornered to be picked up, so are not suitable for people with physical disabilities or suffer from PTSD. They need folks who will make them the center of their world and help them learn to trust before even attempting to train.  Please do not apply if you do not meet the requirements of the dogs we rescue.  However, they will learn with time, love, patience and most of all, commitment. You must have an ample supply of all of these to reap the rewards of watching these very special dogs become your wonderful companion. We state any known health issues, all are altered unless there is a medical reason not to, which we will advise, any known medical issues addressed, are microchipped, are UTD on all vaccines and have been checked out by at least one veterinarian, usually two. We do not guarantee the health of any of our rescued dogs. The dogs we rescue have lived with other dogs all of their lives and most get along with other dogs. We state if they are dog aggressive. We require a permanent, full-time parent. That means you must be able to spend the majority of your time with your new companion to socialize and train. We do not, under any circumstances, place them in homes with young children as they have not been exposed to children and we do not know how they will react. Hi! My name is Karma, and I am a little Maltese girl who was born 8/29/16, and I weigh 6 pounds. I need a quiet home with a sibling to learn from and play with. I have been shaved for hygiene reasons, but my hair will grow out and I will be beautiful again. No large dogs and no small children, please. Grandkids that visit and are gentle is fine. A home visit is required with all family members, present. If you have been waiting for a beautiful Maltese girl, please ask for me on your application to http://www.breederadoptions.org. My name is Joy, and I am a little Maltese girl who is 7 years old, and I weigh 8 pounds. I would do best with a sibling my size to help me learn the ropes. I am very scared of humans but with ample time, patience and love, I will learn to trust. A home visit is required. If you want two of us, I have a bestest buddy, named Karma who is the same age and weight as me. If you have been waiting for a beautiful Maltese girl, please ask for me on your application to http://www.breederadoptions.org. Love, Joy 081923-21  April 22, 2024, 10:01 pm
