Story
Hello,I am looking for a loving and responsible new home for my dog, who is about two years old. I found him in August 2025 and decided to keep him, hoping I could give him a permanent home. Since then, I have had him neutered and microchipped and have done my best to care for him. This is a very difficult decision, but I already have two other dogs, and managing three dogs has become more than I can handle. Because I care about his well-being, I want to find him a safe, loving home where he can get the attention and care he deserves. He is a good dog, and I am hoping to find someone who can give him a stable, forever home. Please contact me if you may be interested or know someone who could provide a loving home.Thank you for your understanding.Unfortunately Mr.Noddles will be going to a shelter soon the only one in my area is Contra Costa County and they are a kill center please save Mr.Noddles

Story
âœ¨ Meet Boq  — 6 lbs of tiny, determined heart ✨ Available for Adoption through Umbrella of Hope Boq Wicked is a 9-year-old, 6-pound Maltese mix with a soft black and white coat, a gentle spirit, and a lifetime of stories behind his cloudy eyes. He may be small, but this little gentleman has preferences, routines, and a quirky charm that make him unforgettable to those lucky enough to earn his trust. His Personality Boq is happiest when the world is quiet, steady, and predictable. His absolute favorite part of the day? His walks. He walks beautifully on leash and will trot right alongside you like the world’s tiniest hiking buddy. He gets along well with other dogs, he’s sweet, affectionate in his own gentle way, and very food-motivated. (Blueberries, watermelon, and chicken? Yes, please.) Because Boq is deaf and has limited vision, he can be reactive if startled. He’s not recommended for a home with small children. His perfect match is someone experienced with shy or special-needs pups — someone who recognizes that progress may be slow… but absolutely worth it. Daily Life with Boq • Likes to explore, sniff, and take in the world on his walks • Occasionally plays with small toys (when the mood strikes) If you’re patient, compassionate, and looking for a small senior buddy who just needs someone to believe in him, Boq Wicked might be your perfect match. Story
As a rescue, we witness heartbreaking cases of animal abuse and neglect from all across the state. Sadly, this story is no different. And yes — this is real. These photos are NOT AI generated. This is a living senior dog we saved from euthanasia.   Meet Theodent Toothpaste.   Until he can be professionally groomed, we aren’t even sure what breed mix he is. He’s estimated to be around 8–10 years old and has a heart murmur. We are still getting to know him, but one thing is already clear — he is deeply attached to his foster and just wants to feel safe and loved. So far, he has been such a good boy.   UPDATE 5/28/26 -- he has been groomed and photos to be posted soon.  His DNA showed he is 71% poodle and the other 29% is split among Bichon-American Eskimo-Shih Tzu-Maltese-Pekingese-Pomeranian-Chihuahua-Schnauzer-Cocker Spaniel   As we continue learning about his medical and emotional needs, we are asking for your help to raise donations for his care. Every contribution will go toward veterinary treatment, grooming, medications, and helping “Theo” finally experience the comfort and kindness he deserves. If you find it in your heart to help Theo you can donate by sending a check or money order to: UOH 4040 Railroad Ave Pittsburg CA 94565 PayPal beourpet@gmail.com Zelle beourpet@gmail.com Venmo @Umbrellaof-HopeRescue Help us help Theo live a better life!! #theoslifematters    GENERAL INFO:   Housebroken?: Yes, we think so Crate Trained?: Yes Leash Trained?: Yes Rides Well in Car?: Yes Non-Shedding?: Low to no shed Good with cats?: Yes, we think so Good with dogs?: Yes Qualifies for Seniors for Seniors?: yes Umbrella of Hope does not have any strict rules on ages of children because all children are different, but our best approximation is that this animal would do best with children over the age of 5 Umbrella of Hope is an all-volunteer, donation-run, non-profit animal rescue based out of Pittsburg, CA that rescues animals from local shelters, places them in private foster homes, provides them with needed medical care and then finds them new homes.  Also, ask us about our seniors for seniors program, where we adopt animals 5 years or older to qualified homes with a $5 donation as an adoption fee.
