Story
Meet Beebee, a SUPER cute male Maltese/small terrier mix puppy and part of the B litter! The 7 pups in the B litter were born to mama Bianca (18 lb Maltese mix, found on the streets of Waterbury, CT) on 1/29/2026. They will be ready to go to their furever homes once they turn 8 weeks old on 3/26, and we are accepting applications on them now!
Beebee is the runt of the litter, weighing just 5.3 oz at birth. He lost 1.5 oz within 16 hours of birth and struggled to nurse from mom His amazing foster mama stepped in and started bottle feeding him around the clock. It was touch and go for a bit, but thankfully this litter fighter slowly started gaining weight and thriving! He now weighs 1 lb at 6 weeks old, we expect his adult weight to be under 10 lbs (probably about 5-6 lbs based on his current age and size). He is a VERY special, strong little boy who has come so far!!
Beebee is a typical happy, playful puppy who loves everyone! Good with dogs, cats, people, and kids. Young puppies are like blank slates who, with proper training and socialization, will grow into wonderful dogs.
He is medically up to date (age appropriate) and working on housebreaking and crate training. Apply to meet this floofy cutie today!

Adoption fees vary based on the dog and are not negotiable. As a small rescue that does not receive government funding or grants, we rely on adoption fees to stay afloat. Adoption fees help cover the following: vaccinations, wellness exams, heartworm/4DX testing, parasite prevention, spay/neuter (age-appropriate), microchipping, transport expenses, and other rescue-related overhead/administrative costs. Paws Rescue League, Inc is an all-inclusive rescue that does NOT only rescue puppies and young, healthy dogs. We make a point to also rescue seniors, dogs with special needs, moms, and other “less desirable” dogs, knowing that we will likely incur higher veterinary expenses and that these dogs may take longer to get adopted. As such, an individual adoption fee is not only reimbursing PRL for expenses directly related to that dog, but it is also helping us to continue our mission of taking in dogs that would otherwise be too much of a financial burden to save. We believe that ALL dogs deserve a second chance. Thank you for your support and understanding!
