Pesto is a certified Velcro dog who believes personal space is optional and cuddling is mandatory. If you stop petting him, don’t worry, he’ll politely remind you by reaching out and petting you right back. Yes, really. Consent is negotiable in Pesto’s world when it comes to affection. He adores people, thrives on companionship, and wants nothing more than to be close to his human at all times. Couch time, bedtime, lazy Sundays, quick kitchen trips, he’s your tiny, devoted shadow. Meet Sophia — one of our beautiful Golden Girls. We believe Sophia is around 9–10 years old, and she came to us from a heartbreaking local hoarding situation. Life before rescue wasn’t kind to Sophia or her sisters, but watching them discover the simple joys of the world has been one of the greatest blessings. We currently have all four Golden Girls, and it has been so much fun letting them explore what a real life looks like. Soft beds, clean blankets, good food, sunshine, toys, and room to play — things they had likely never experienced before. And let me tell you… these girls are full of life! They are playful, lively, and soaking up every second of their second chance. Sophia has been fully vetted and is doing wonderful.
