Story
According to her foster, Millie is a spitfire! Fortunately, she is very small so she isn't bouncing off the furniture or chewing up your house. She loves other little dogs and doesn't bother the cats that she lives with. She is very active and playful and loves to drag around toys. She is crate trained, sleeps through the night, and loves to go outside. She is pee pad trained but seems to prefer to potty outside. She walks on a leash for a time, but then looks at you with her sad eyes (what an act) so that you will pick her up. She does have a hind leg that she sometimes limps on and sometimes uses. She can go up and down stairs but sometimes needs help coming back up. She will go anywhere with you. She will alert you with a few barks when there is a disturbance in her universe. What a fun little dog! She is estimated to be between 5-7 years old and recently had a full dentalFOCCAS is a foster based, non-profit rescue in Crossville, TN. Story
Bo is a special little senior white Bichon Frise boy who is 11 years young and weighs 16 pounds. A solid little spry and bouncy boy that loves to cuddle, go for long walks and to ride anywhere you take him in the car! Most of Bo's life he has lived with a man who now is facing severe health issues complicated by dementia. Over time the living conditions in the home were nothing short of neglect and despair for both the man and the dogs who he has loved for years. Friends of Bo's owner stepped in and got the man medical care and took the dogs into their homes to foster and find new owners for the future. There was no going back to live with their owner who was most likely never coming home. Although both dogs  were loved by their owner, Bo was always the favorite.  Most likely, because of his chill personality and how he loves to just cuddle and watch TV. If he's nervous, he's not one to pace or bark nonstop. If he's sad or scared, he tends to gently howl, but is easy to calm. Bo will easily bond with someone who loves and cares for him. He won't complain if he's allowed to sleep next to his new owner but also seems content being in the same room so he can see you. He is crate trained, but during the last six months he was often left neglected and locked up too much, so he is loving the freedom of not having to sit in one all day and night. He travels very well in a crate. He is potty trained and loves long walks. He is not a biter of anyone or any dog and he coexists with his foster parents and their dogs and cat. Bo is a terrific boy who has many many years of vibrant life and love to give away to someone that truly needs it. If you are interested in this boy please write to us at Critter Cavalry Rescue atccrnewengland@gmail.com PLEASE NOTE:   Our dogs and cats are fostered in Tennessee and can transport weekly up to the Northeast region.  Request an application and learn more about Critter Cavalry at https://www.crittercavalry.com/adoption.July 16, 2026, 8:58 pm

Story
Check out this patriotic little guy!   Meet Baxter! If you're searching for a loving new family member, your search ends here. Baxter is a 12-pound, 2-3-year-old Malti Tzu (a Maltese and Shih Tzu mix), and he embodies all the best, sweetest traits of both breeds.  Ater a few days in his foster home, Baxter found his voice.  Yes he has that Maltese trait.  For this reason, Baxter is not suited to apartment life.   Baxter was found as a stray in Nashville after someone suspected he’d been hit by a car and brought him to the emergency vet. Thankfully, there were no broken bones, but he is currently healing from a sore back leg. (He’ll have X-rays taken when he’s neutered on 7/7.) We wish Baxter could tell us what happened and how he ended up on his own—it’s hard to imagine any family not wanting such a sweet boy.   Baxter is both a people-lover and a dog’s dog! He loves to play and would thrive with a young, active canine companion in his forever home. He adores people and always wants to be by your side—be prepared to never be alone again! His sore leg doesn’t slow him down; he still jumps on the furniture to be with his foster mom whenever steps are available.   This young gentleman walks well on a leash and is fully housebroken. He loves going on adventures and rides like a champ in the car—he even prefers the back seat, though he’s happy on a passenger’s lap, too! Baxter is the perfect companion for trips to the park or visits to dog-friendly restaurants and shops.     To learn more about bringing Baxter into your family or to request an adoption application, please email Vivienne at vivienneajames@gmail.com or text 615-943-7311. Don’t wait—this sweet boy won’t be available for long!  July 16, 2026, 8:58 pm
