Hello there, I'm Sandy Sue. I'm 4 years old. I traveled here from California. I am looking for a young family so I can grow old with them, after all I'm only 4 still very young. I recently had surgery to remove some lumps and bumps. Nothing serious. I'm good now. I was spayed at the same time. My hair was so matted I had to have it cut off. The vet did it, so I don't look exactly right, but I've had a little touch up since I got here, so I look pretty darn cute. I've been through kind of a lot, but I still have a heart full of love and a spirit as sweet as honey. I'm known for my gentle nature and mellow vibes. I'm always up for a friendly chat, even if it's just wagging my tail in response to your day. I love long walks, cozy naps, and the simple joy of companionship. Smudge is a sweet senior girl with lots of love left to give! Overall, she is an easy going girl who is looking for a sunbeam to nap in, but she has an adventurous streak. She smarter and spryer than she'll lead you to believe! Smudge is looking for a home where she can be near her family, one that shares snacks and loves her back. She enjoys watching tv, short easy walks, and being in the garden. She may snore during your favorite show, but she won't complain about what you want to watch! She is good with other dogs, not sure about cats but guess she would be fine. Previous owner says she was never fully potty trained, but she does well with frequent and consistent breaks.Smudge was adopted to what she thought would be her forever person when she was 3 years old, but due to unexpected medical issues of her owner, she has to rethink her retirement plan. This is Smudge's third chance at finding her forever home. Do you have room in your heart and home to be this little gal's lucky charm?
