Denny came to the shelter as a stray and what we know so far since he has been with his foster is that he can be a little feisty with cats selectively, seems good with other dogs, is a total snuggler, and loves to sleep with you! We also knew he needed a dental when he came to us and he is having that tackled July 8th and he'll be all good! He was also groomed since he came to us and is lookin sharp now and is ready to go!  His foster mom shares that this little guy is solid and is ready to be a great addition to your home!July 27, 2026, 1:57 pm

Story
Opal came to us not spayed and with a couple of mammary masses and a mass in her ovaries. We have since spayed her and had her masses removed and biopsied and all looks good! Eyes will need to be kept on her but she is ready to find her forever home-yay! Opal is suuuuch a sweet girl and loves to snuggle and is great with other dogs. Really we think she could be good with any family!  It would probably be best if Opal was in a home with no stairs-she does not like to be picked up and stairs are a challenge for her. But her fosters have been working with her on this and she is getting better. She may have some arthritis that causes her to really not liked to be picked up and this is the only time she will get grumpy. Other than that she is a sweetie and does great in a car and loves to travel!July 27, 2026, 1:57 pm

Magpie is a senior sweetie that was very quiet and shutdown when we first pulled her but has really come out of her shell with her foster and they have found that she is quite the adorable shadow and loves to snuggle by you on the couch! She does seem to be both site and hearing impaired but is remarkable at adjusting and getting around and is just fine being carried up and down the stairs to do her business in the yard. She is great about holding her potty and has a cloth pen she hangs out in if her fosters have to be gone to work, etc and she does great in that. She really is an easy very sweet girl and just needs a loving chill home to spend her hopefully many last years! She does seem ok with her foster dog sister and we think could be good with both dogs and cats.July 27, 2026, 1:57 pm
