Story
Dina is a tiny 10-year-old, 8-pound sweetheart who found herself at a San Antonio shelter as a stray—matted, dirty, and covered in fleas and ticks, without the care she deserved. Thankfully, her amazing foster stepped in, got her groomed, and gave her the fresh start she needed.Despite everything she’s been through, Dina is pure sweetness. She’s energetic, affectionate, and absolutely loves to be petted and cuddled. She’ll happily sit in your lap for as long as you’ll let her and snuggles up in bed at night like the little companion she was meant to be.💗Dina is blind, but that doesn’t slow her down one bit. She follows voices to find her people and is learning the layout of her new home super quickly—she’s incredibly adaptable! She uses pee pads and is doing great with her routine. Her foster carries her outside for potty breaks, and Dina knows just what to do!🏡Dina takes it all in stride with confidence and trust. All Dina wants is love—and she has so much of it to give in return. 🥰At her vet appointment, we learned Dina is heartworm positive and will also need a dental. The good news? We will cover her heartworm treatment until it’s fully completed, and her dental is scheduled soon so she can feel her very best.💊Could you be the safe, gentle home this resilient girl has been waiting for? 💖📍Dina is being fostered in San Antonio, Texas.
