Do you have time and room in your life for a foster dog? http://www.muttloverescue.org/foster.html *****************   Sweet, laid back Leo was surrendered to Mutt Love when his human mom, who has cancer, could no longer take care of him.  Leo is a quiet pup looking for his forever home.  He is 10 years young and a bit pudgy at 17 pounds (a definite diet in his future).  He would be a wonderful addition to a home.  **BECAUSE OF OUR REQUIREMENT FOR A HOME VISIT, WE ARE ONLY ABLE TO ADOPT TO HOMES IN THE NORTHERN VA / MARYLAND / DC METRO AREA** We have adoption events EVERY SATURDAY from 12-3 p.m. Please note that not all dogs can attend every event, so if you are interested in meeting a particular dog, please complete a no-obligation application on our website at http://www.muttloverescue.org/application.html OR write to adopt@muttloverescue.org. Freddy Toy Poodle Mix Male White 11 months old 9 lbs Meet little Freddy, a young pup with a sparkly personality that is poised to be your next totable adventure buddy! Freddy is a young pup with a big personality who’s ready to join you on life’s adventures! This little fluffball may have started life with some challenges, but thanks to his loving foster family, he’s blossomed into a happy and playful companion. At just under a year old, Freddy is slowly catching up on how to be a well-behaved pet! He loves other dogs (big or small), enjoys his walks, and has endless enthusiasm for toys and playtime. He’s crate-trained, does well being left alone, is learning outdoor potty habits, and faces bath time like a champ. Freddy's time as a stray and at a shelter has left him with some trust, confidence, and guarding issues, but like many young pups, he’s still learning about sharing and respecting boundaries. In the short time he's spent with his foster family, he has responded positively to his foster family's training to overcome his challenges. He’ll thrive with a patient, dog-savvy adopter who understands what it takes to build trust and is willing to continue guiding him as he grows into the best version of himself. A quieter home without young children would be ideal, as he can get overwhelmed with too much noise or chaos. If you’re looking for a loving little sidekick, Freddy is ready to steal your heart!
