Story
Please contact Kristin (cats@arrcolorado.org) for more information about this pet.  Denali came to ARR due to his mom passing away unexpectedly. He's spectacular and has the typical Maine Coon laid back personality. It took him a number of weeks to begin to trust as he came to us pretty traumatized as his home was very quiet. He's in a busier house now with other cats and a chill dog and is doing wonderfully. He's begun sleeping with his foster mom most nights. He loved playing with toys and is a litter box champ! He will need to go to a home with at least one other cat or dog. Children 12 and over. Connect on IG @marvelousmagnificentmilo  foster: cs Animal Rescue of the Rockies believes that every pet should find a wonderful, caring home. To ensure each pet finds the best possible home, we ask that you fill out an adoption application form so we can learn more about you and your household. We review each application we receive and will contact you as quickly as possible. A home visit will be scheduled before any pet is adopted to a new home. Once a home visit has taken place and the adoption application has been approved, we will ask you to read and sign our adoption agreement form. Our adoption fees help cover the cost of spay/neuter, veterinary exams, vaccinations, microchipping, and foster care. Highly requested breeds help cover the vet costs incurred by some of our other cats, enabling us to save more lives! $300 for purebred/highly requested kittens, 6 months or younger, such as Siamese mixes, Maine Coon mixes.  These 'guardian kittens' help support our rescue work by covering vet costs for other kittens. $200 for purebred/highly requested cats older than 6 months such as Siamese mixes, Maine Coone mixes.  These 'guardian cats' help support our rescue work by covering vet costs for other kittens. $200 for kittens (6 months & under)    $125 for cats (older than 6 months)    $75 for senior cats (8 years or older) If you are interested in adopting, please fill out an adoption application  here . We want our pets to go to a lifelong new home, so thank you for your patience during the adoption process! Please email cats@arrcolorado.org for more information, as we can not accept calls at this time. PLEASE NOTE:  The breed listed is the information we've received from the shelter.  Shelters usually guess at the breed, so there is no guarantee, as we don't DNA test our foster pets.  Here is some interesting info on breed identification:  https://arrcolorado.org/category/puppy-dog-tips/ Our adoption process is: 1. Fill out our Adoption Application online.  We'll contact you within 48 hours to answer any questions you may have about the pet. 2. If the pet looks like a great match, we'll schedule a meet and greet and ask you to fill out our online Adoption Agreement if you'd like to proceed with adopting.  Once you've completed the Adoption Agreement and pay the pet's Adoption Fee, you can arrange to pick up your new furry family member! Story
I got June from one of the managers I used to work with. They had two cats - one a black cat & the other was part Maine Coon. I got to pick June right from the litter once all of the kittens were about 3 months old. She will be 3 years old on May 31 2024. June is extremely sweet, and she loves me so much. She wakes me up every morning to cuddle, and she loves to be right by my side. She is a great companion. I just feel like she needs more room than an apartment, and she needs more stimulation. She loves to hunt, play, explore. Whether that be going outside more or maybe playing with other animals - she is very active. She has been around both dogs and cats some, and she doesn't seem to mind them. She just needs more space than the place I will be moving to (a small one-bedroom apartment).
