Story
Meet Theo! He’s a beautiful 8-year-old gray Main Coon cat. He is a large, friendly, and happiest when sitting on someone's lap. He is content when he is with someone, either beside you while you work, next to you on the couch, or in your lap. He is easy to care for, as he never goes outside, and will never eat "human" food. Unfortunately, our two year-old grandson was just tested for severe allergies and he is allergic to cats. Because of this, we would love to rehome Theo to someone who needs a companion, but also an easy cat to care for. Even though he has never been outside, he loves sitting on our screened in porch, watching squirrels and birds. Theo was rescued when he was a kitten, and we hope someone will help us "rescue" him once again. We are so sad to give him up, but with our grandson's family moving in with us in just a few weeks, we need to find a safe and kind home for him.

Story
I absolutely have to rehome this cat because my daughter's tomcat keeps wanting to kill her, he won't trying to rip her apart!!! If there isn't anyone to separate my daughter's tomcat, he will probably make her bleed really badly!! She has to be kept in a very small room, and she constantly wants to escape!! I am going to be moving, and I can't take her because she keeps wanting to escape!! And if she escapes the rv camper, and I can't catch her then she will become completely homeless!!! Please help me find her a good home soon!!! She is a very sweet affectionate cat, with her owner, she can become a one person cat too! Until she gets used to things, she almost always scared of everything!!!

Story
Max is a stray that showed up at our house in Bethel Church Road area the middle of January this year. We already have 2 cats a male and a female. Max has been in the garage and bonus room over the garage as well as a large catio off the garage, never outside. Our other 2 have stayed in the house going out occasionally. We have tried everything to get the three to accept each other and nothing has worked. We would keep him 100% if they could have integrated with each other. Max is very sweet and loves people once he trusts them, he loves to play and we think he is probably just over a year old. He was neutered in January after he came to us. He uses a litter box and eats well preferring wet food. He was obviously on his own for a while and gets scared easily still and is weary of strangers. We feel he would do best as a completely indoor cat with adults only and no other pets.

Story
Ellie is NOT your typical chill Maine Coon personality. She is a very pretty mix, on the smaller side, and very particular about her people and playmates. She is around 4 years old, and was previously living with an elderly lady who developed balance issues and was concerned about tripping over Ellie, so she is currently in a foster home with other cats and dogs. She has a chosen human and a couple cat friends that she will cuddle with and play with- if you are chosen by her, she is extremely sweet and friendly! She would do best in a home with another cat or two, no small children, and is fine with cat- friendly dogs. She will take some time to warm up in a new environment but is worth the effort to win her affection!

Story
This sweet boy was in a home with other cats and he simply wasn't happy. He's so unhappy, that it gave him health issues, most of which have been resolved, but he stayed  quarantined to help him avoid stress. His current owner has repeatedly taken him to the vet and all agree it would be best to find Freddie a home with no other cats and a chill family! Freddie is now in a low stress foster home and doing great! We agree with the vets that he should be on a prescription diet for the rest of his life to avoid further stress induced bladder swelling. Therefore, an adopter must be committed to a low stress environment, prescription diet and regular vet visits. This gentle giant Maine Coon mix can be seen by appointment after filling in an application from felinematchmakers.org. You must be over 21 and live in the Wilmington, NC area to adopt. ##2606052##
