Story
Miller #1, #2 and #3 are all adult male cats that lived with their human mom until she was admitted to hospice care.  These brothers are shy but friendly.  The owner is not able to tell us their names or any extra information about them but they have had their neuter surgery and are presumed to be UTD on vaccines.    It would be best for these cats to be adopted to a home with other “friendlies” or with one of their siblings.  They are initially shy (as most cats can be after a radical life-change) but they will come around with love and attention after acclimation to their new home.   Miller #1 and #2 are Maine Coon mixes and Miller #3 is a pretty orange tabby.  They live in Salem with their caregiver and are currently in a catio at her home but previously were indoor cats.  These cats are all males and live in Salem with their caregiver.  Adoption fee is $100 ea. For more information on meeting and adopting this kitty, please fill out a pre-adoption application under "ADOPT" on our website at WWW.CATSCRADLERESCUE.COM. Your information will be forwarded to the foster parent for follow-ups and meeting arrangement.   Cat's Cradle is an all-volunteer, non-profit foster-home based rescue serving Oregon cats who need new homes. 100% of your adoption fee goes to provide for the medical and physical needs of the cats in our care. We invite you to become a foster parent and experience the great satisfaction of helping a cat or kitten in need.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.March 1, 2026, 5:08 pm

Story
Paxton is a 4 year old long hair Maine Coon mix. He is being rehomed due to his owners own medical changes.  Paxton is a super sweet and social boy. Loves to curl up and sleep on your lap. He needs to remain indoors only and will need room to run about. He is active, playful and at times gets the "Zoomies" when he has the energy.  Paxton does well with cat friendly dogs, but has not been around other cats.  He loves cat friendly kids and will adore the attention.  Paxton will sleep on the bed with you and he enjoys having his belly rubbed. He is a well behaved guy and knows he is not supposed to jump onto the counter tops, but sometimes he forgets. He just needs a gentle reminder to get down. He is litter box trained and has not had any issues.  He is microchipped, current on vaccines and neutered.  Please note he has not been outside and has been an indoor only cat. If you think of putting him outdoors he may not return, as he may try to go find his old home. Please indoor only. His rehoming fee is $100 donation This cat is offered for adoption due to the owner's personal circumstances. For more information on meeting and adopting this kitty, please fill out a pre-adoption application under "ADOPT" on our website at WWW.CATSCRADLERESCUE.COM. Story
Willow is Sponsored by Baby Mia.Meet Willow 🌿Willow is a clever, independent lady with a calm presence and a thoughtful way of moving through the world. She enjoys observing her surroundings, choosing her friends carefully, and soaking up affection on her own terms. She may do well with certain cats, but she’s selective and appreciates having her own space to decompress.Willow has Idiopathic Cystitis (FLUTD), a manageable condition that simply means she needs a bit of daily and monthly support to stay comfortable and healthy. She receives monthly Adequan injections and takes a daily Zylkene capsule sprinkled on her food—both of which she handles like a champ. Her care routine is straightforward and has been helping her feel her best.Despite her medical needs, Willow is a wonderful companion who enjoys gentle pets, soft voices, and a predictable, loving environment. She’s not demanding, but when she chooses you, her quiet affection is incredibly rewarding. If you’re someone who respects boundaries, appreciates a smart and sensitive cat, and doesn’t mind helping with a simple care routine, Willow could be a truly special addition to your home. 🐾If you are interested in meeting me, the shelter is open Tuesday through Saturday 11am – 5pm, Sunday 11am-4pm (Winter Hours). If you’d like to schedule an appointment, check out the pets’ profile on our website at newberganimals.com to fill out an application and email to frontdesk@newberganimals.com.Due to COVID-19, we are currently only open by appointment. Story
I’ve had Mr. Fritz since college, and through every move and life change, he’s been my constant companion. He’s a sweet boy who gets along with other animals once he’s had a little time to adjust (usually about a month). Life has shifted for us — with the recent loss of my parents and another baby on the way, our home is full, and unfortunately Mr. Fritz isn’t getting the attention he deserves. He would thrive best with a family who can let him enjoy being both indoors and outdoors, since he loves to roam and explore. Right now, we have a large property, but we’re moving to a place without one, and I know he’d be happiest somewhere he has space to wander. He’s affectionate, loves his cuddles, and while wet food is his favorite, he’s not a picky eater. Mr. Fritz will be 9 in the spring of 2026 and still has so much love and life to share. He truly is a wonderful companion, and anyone would be lucky to have him as part of their family.
