Story
Miller #1, #2 and #3 are all adult male cats that lived with their human mom until she was admitted to hospice care.  These brothers are shy but friendly.  The owner is not able to tell us their names or any extra information about them but they have had their neuter surgery and are presumed to be UTD on vaccines.    It would be best for these cats to be adopted to a home with other “friendlies” or with one of their siblings.  They are initially shy (as most cats can be after a radical life-change) but they will come around with love and attention after acclimation to their new home.   Miller #1 and #2 are Maine Coon mixes and Miller #3 is a pretty orange tabby.  They live in Salem with their caregiver and are currently in a catio at her home but previously were indoor cats.  These cats are all males and live in Salem with their caregiver.  Adoption fee is $100 ea. For more information on meeting and adopting this kitty, please fill out a pre-adoption application under "ADOPT" on our website at WWW.CATSCRADLERESCUE.COM. Your information will be forwarded to the foster parent for follow-ups and meeting arrangement.   Cat's Cradle is an all-volunteer, non-profit foster-home based rescue serving Oregon cats who need new homes. 100% of your adoption fee goes to provide for the medical and physical needs of the cats in our care. We invite you to become a foster parent and experience the great satisfaction of helping a cat or kitten in need.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.March 7, 2026, 3:44 pm

Story
Willow is Sponsored by Baby Mia.Meet Willow Willow is a clever, independent lady with a calm presence and a thoughtful way of moving through the world. She enjoys observing her surroundings, choosing her friends carefully, and soaking up affection on her own terms. She may do well with certain cats, but she’s selective and appreciates having her own space to decompress.Willow has Idiopathic Cystitis (FLUTD), a manageable condition that simply means she needs a bit of daily and monthly support to stay comfortable and healthy. She receives monthly Adequan injections and takes a daily Zylkene capsule sprinkled on her food—both of which she handles like a champ. Her care routine is straightforward and has been helping her feel her best.Despite her medical needs, Willow is a wonderful companion who enjoys gentle pets, soft voices, and a predictable, loving environment. She’s not demanding, but when she chooses you, her quiet affection is incredibly rewarding. If you’re someone who respects boundaries, appreciates a smart and sensitive cat, and doesn’t mind helping with a simple care routine, Willow could be a truly special addition to your home. If you are interested in meeting Willow, the shelter is open Monday through Saturday 11am – 5pm, Sunday 11am-4pm. If you’d like to schedule an appointment, check out the pets’ profile on our website at newberganimals.com to fill out an application and email to frontdesk@newberganimals.com.Due to COVID-19, we are currently only open by appointment. Story
Buster is approximately 12 years old and is very friendly to people and loves to get attention and affection. He’s a lap kitty and occasional bedtime snuggler. He has been with me for over ten years. We are making the difficult decision to rehome him because 1) he doesn’t get along with our other senior cat and the aggression is getting worse every day and 2) we have our second child on the way and are simply outgrowing our home. We really need to find someone who will love him in his final years and give him the care and attention he wants and deserves. I wish that could still be us.
