Story
Ridley is 9 years old (her birthday is in April). She's an older gal who likes nothing more the than sitting in the lap of her human. But don't let her age fool you, she's spunky and loves to play. She was originally adopted from PetSmart around 2018 by a friend. But when that friend the broke off their engagement and moved, they decided they'd rather have a dog and left Ridley with her ex. When I became roommates with that person, I bonded really hard with Ridley and took her when I moved out. I work a busy schedule and I've realized I don't have time to properly give her enough attention like she craves. Whoever adopts her should be able to dedicate time in their schedule to playing with her and having a fair bit of lap time. She's interested in the outdoors and I think she could be leashed trained. She can be persnickety at times, but she's very loving.

Not good with kids, Not good with dogs, Not good with cats,
Story
Hank and his sister Lucy were adopted from us as small kittens, but recently their adopter had a change of circumstance and returned them to us. Both are clearly confused and dont understand why theyre not home. Theyre timid around new people, and new situations make them very nervous. Once theyve had time to settle in and decompress, Hank is the more social of the two. He loves a good head scratch! Lucy will take longer to trust, but it will be worth it when you see her explore her surroundings. Both will receive a haircut before being adopted; their coats have some unfortunate mats right now. They need to be adopted together into a home with no other animals or kids.

Story
We were contacted about a cat in distress and found Buckaroo in terrible shape. The odds were definitely against him. He was bleeding from hole in his scrotum, possibly caused by a botfly. He was severely underweight (5.8 lbs), dehydrated, matted, covered in fleas, flystrike, full of round worms and suffering from an upper respiratory infection. We bathed him, cut out his mats, and our good friends at Riverside saved his life. He has doubled his weight and his medium long coat is growing back He is a beautiful boy who purrs for pets. He is still on the shy side, but will push his head into your hands for love.Buckaroo is FIV+ but fine to live with other cats who are not.
