Maine Coon kittens & cats in Clinton, Tennessee

We got Mara about 7 years ago when she was 6 months old. My husband was in the Navy at the time and we’ve moved quite a few times with her. No longer in the Navy, we currently moved to a forever home and just had our second child and just don’t have the room to keep her. She has been a beloved part of our family all of this time and we are so sad to see her go. She loves to keep you company, needs lots of affection and we would love to see her in a home with someone who can give her the attention that she craves. The last move seemed to make her fairly anxious and irritable. She loves to be with us, is not aggressive, but will hiss at strangers and will hide when uncomfortable. A home to be patient and kind with her as she adapts to a new family and becomes more relaxed again is really what we hope for Mara. She is so sweet and lovable, does well with kids, but would probably be best with a couple or small family where she doesn’t have to share attention. Only been an indoor cat.

Duchess Marie is a playful and energetic 10-year-old female, grey and white Maine coon mix, with probably some Persian -- based on her personality and appearance. She is a complete lap cat and follows her foster mom all over the house rubbing up against her legs. At night Duchess enjoys cuddles on the couch while watching TV and getting pets and belly rubs. Duchess has some of the softest fur ever with a big fluffy tail reminding every one of a feather duster. She would do well as a solo kitty to get all the attention, but is ok with other cats. She is very curious and likes to explore her surroundings. If you like a kitty to talk to you, Duchess is perfect; she has a soft, quiet voice and the foster mom says they have full conversations. Duchess is full of playfulness. One of her favorite toys is the laser pointer and tiny little balls. Also, of course, anything with catnip. Dudley was adopted as a small kitten and spent the last two years with a lovely family, but their family situation changed and now he's back at a second chance at forever. Dudley is a gentle giant, weighing in at 13 pounds! He'll be a bit timid when you first meet him, but don't let that deter you. Dudley will loosen up when he gets more comfortable. A sure way for his personality to shine is to let him play with other cats - he LOVES having feline friends. Dudley does well with dogs and kids too! After he was originally adopted, it was discovered that Dudley suffers from seizures and requires twice-daily medication. As long as he takes his medicine, he only has a seizure every 4-6 months. Ron and Hermione are around 7 months old long hair kittens. Ron (orange, male) loves being around people and loves exploring his area. He loves chasing around his toys. He will curly up next to you to sleep. He would do good with dogs, cats and kids. He is very laid back. Hermione (Tortie, female) has beautiful markings. She is a bit shy at first but has the loudest purr when she comes to say hello. She loves playing with her toys and enjoys soaking up the sun from the window. Hermione would do good with other cats and would warm up to dogs. She loves children once she gets to know them.
