Alvin is a big, beautiful Maine Coon with an even bigger personality — and he's ready to find a home where he can be everyone's favorite couch companion. True to his breed, Alvin is a total gentle giant. He's deeply affectionate and loves nothing more than being close to his people — think headbutts, loud purrs, and settling in next to you (or on you) for the long haul. He's got that classic Maine Coon charm: dog-like devotion in a magnificent, fluffy package. Alvin is currently carrying a few extra pounds, so his new family will want to help him work toward a healthier weight with portion-controlled meals and some encouragement to get moving — a wand toy and a little daily playtime would go a long way for this big guy. It's a manageable project, not a dealbreaker, and it'll mean more good years together. If you've got room on your couch and love in your heart for a large, loving lap cat, Alvin is ready to be your new best friend.

MR. BILL is an adorable BROWN TABBY MAINE COON/DOMESTIC LONGHAIR MIX with green eyes. He is 2 years old, has his claws, is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, FeLV negative, but FIV positive, and microchipped. This little chap weighs a bit over 8 lbs. Mr. Bill came to us from a shelter. Upon arrival, he received a cute lion cut to free him from some mats. Some of his pictures show him before he was shaved. Mr. Bill’s foster mom has fostered many adorable kitties, but when it comes to true cuteness, he ranks high on that list. Just look at that expressive face with the long ear tufts, coupled with his compact body and shorter than normal legs. Based on his face and his rather big paws, we think that he has some Maine Coon or perhaps a bit of Munchkin in him; or maybe he is a dwarf Maine Coon? Regardless, he is a very cute cat. Mr. Bill is very comfortable around adults, and we also think that he wouldn’t mind being around cat savvy children. When he sees or hears his foster mom, he ambles over for some head rubs. He likes to hang out close to his foster mom when she spends time reading or watching videos in the room with him. He tested FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus) positive. FIV-positive cats can enjoy happy, fulfilling lives with proper veterinary care, and he does not require any medication. Since Mr. Bill is reactive to other cats and needs to be adopted into a home that doesn’t have other cats (nor plans on adding any), this diagnosis should not be of any concern. FIV cannot be transmitted to dogs (or humans), so Mr. Bill may be able to coexist with a very calm and cat friendly dog. His foster mom enjoys all of the soft chirps when he interacts with her, as if he is sharing his life’s story with her. When he needs attention or is in a place where he can’t see his human companion, he can be a bit vocal to assure he is not being ignored 😉 Mr. Bill eats wet food and he really enjoys his freeze-dried raw food moistened with some water or bone broth. He likes to have access to a couple of litter boxes that he uses perfectly. This cute little chap is eagerly awaiting a permanent home to call his own. ADOPTION FEE $25. FOSTERED IN MEQUON, WI.

Quincy is about a year and a half old. He is half Maine Coon. I cannot keep him because I already have 3 cats, including his mom and dad. He is very social, good-natured, excellent around small children and other cats. He's a very sweet boy who needs a new home!

Lucky is a Maine Coon who has a mild form of exocrine pancreatic insufficiency (EPI). With the right treatment, simple twice-daily medication, he has truly thrived. He continues to show what a resilient, loving spirit he has. Through it all, he has remained sweet and full of life. Lucky eats Hills dry gastrointestinal biome. (Dry food only and no treats or any other kind of food). EPI is treated with pancreatic enzyme powders, steroids as needed, and probiotics as needed. He currently use pelleted litter but used clumping litter in the past. Pancreatic enzyme powder ($100 for 3 month supply). Lucky can do okay on once daily 5 days/week. It is not his favorite. Prednisolone ($20 for a 6-7 week supply). Lucky can do okay on 1-2 pred weekly. Please note that Lucky is not in the care of Misfit Felines. He's not quite as outgoing as his sister and tends to come alive more after the sun goes down. This handsome boy is a bit of a night owl and likes to take his time getting comfortable.Both Leilabelle and Tazz have beautiful coats that need regular grooming, and thankfully, they are perfectly happy to sit still and enjoy a good brushing. It's a great way to keep those gorgeous coats looking their best while giving them some quiet one-on-one attention.Leilabelle seems to know that the world can sometimes be a little overwhelming for her brother, and she looks out for him. After everything these two have experienced together, we consider them a bonded pair. They have lost their humans, their home, and their sense of security more than once — but they have never lost each other.Now, we're hoping their next chapter will be their forever one.Leilabelle and Tazz don't need anything fancy.
