Adoption Donation: $175 All cats are microchipped, neutered, current on all vaccines, and FeLV/FIV tested at the time of adoption. An application is required to view our adoptable pets. All household members and any dogs from the household need to be present at the time of your appointment (unless your dog has had prior exposure to cats.)  A photo ID will be required at the time of adoption. Appointments are recommended. All applications are considered general. Specific animals are NOT put on hold for adoption. When you visit, our adoption counselors will be able to make suggestions based on the type of pet you are looking for and help you find the best fit for your family. Animal House Shelter cannot guarantee the breeds of the adoptable animals. The animals are posted on the website as the breed or breed mix based on their physical characteristics they most resemble. Anderson Humane is not responsible for any unsuccessful adoptions. Mali - 4 year old female Black Labrador (big dog). She loves meeting people and going on walks. She is energetic and loves to play. She is untrained which leads to her escaping a lot and tugging on the leash. Milo - she is around 1 years old, Main Coon. She's given birth to 12 kittens in just a year. She loves to cuddle and be outside on the concrete and grass. Rascal - 9 month old orange male cat. He likes to be outside, eat, play, and get cuddles. April - 9 month old female black and white cat. She likes playing with her little brother, cuddles and nibbling. Gin Gin - 4 month old orange male kitten. He is very fast. He likes chasing and playing with his sister April and going outside. He likes to eat and loves cuddles but also like to be alone at times.

Story
I found this little girl on a run and she was severely malnourished. When I took her into the vet all the labs came back completely normal the plan was to find her a good home as I had another cat already but we didn’t know anyone interested so she turned into our second cat. Unfortunately her and my other cat do not get along he’s a male and very territorial. It’s become too much to handle as I am now pregnant and they fight constantly. She’s a very loving cat but she can be skittish at times and needs to be in a home without other pets or kids. I’m not quite sure her age just because I found her but the vet estimated her to be no older than 4. She will go nuts for food and can become vocal around her normal meal times but I found her staving. She loves to cuddle and loves being under covers. She needs someone who is patient gentle and caring.
