Meet Aven – The Adorable Maltese with a Big Personality! Aven may be tiny in size, but she’s packed with personality! This sweet little Maltese loves treats and thrives on being close to her person. Though she was a bit anxious at first, she’s come a long way since joining her foster home and is now a loving and affectionate companion. She loves being picked up and will happily join you on the couch for some cuddles—showing off her big heart in a small package. Aven is a breeder release dog, so she started off a little unsure of her new world. The first few days, she was pretty evasive, but with the help of her doggy friends in the foster home, she’s learned to trust humans and is now much more comfortable. She follows the cues of the other dogs and does best in a home with other canine companions. She’s afraid of men and can be fearful in public spaces, but at home, she’s a happy, affectionate little girl. Aven has been doing wonderfully with her potty training and is fully kennel trained. She knows how to navigate stairs and use a doggie door like a pro! Aven is also doing well on leash walks with the other dogs in the foster home and has made great strides in leash training. The Ideal Home for Aven: Aven would thrive in a home with another dog, as she loves their company and feels more secure with their support. She’d do best in a home with a fenced yard where she can feel safe. Aven is still learning to navigate the world outside of her home, but she’s made incredible progress and is ready for a family who will continue to help her grow and feel loved. If you’re looking for a sweet, loving little dog who’s come a long way and is ready to keep learning, Aven might be the perfect match for you! Montee is a ~10 year old Maltese Pomerainan mix with a big personality. He’s a spunky, funny little guy who still enjoys short bursts of energy followed by long, cozy naps in the sun. He’s happiest right by your side, whether that’s laying at your feet while you work or supervising in the kitchen as your dedicated “sous chef.” Montee prefers women over men. He loves his little stuffed “babies,” enjoys car rides, and will always let you know when someone is at the door. No apartments please. Montee thrives on routine and prefers a quiet, predictable home. Dinner is at 5:00 PM sharp, and as an older gent he’ll need frequent potty breaks throughout the day. Montee has a few lipomas that don’t bother him, but he prefers to be gently cradled rather than picked up around his belly. He’s a true shadow dog who likes to keep tabs on his people at all times. He must go to a home with no young kids. He currently lives with a laid-back cat and a bunch of little dogs and does well, and has lived with a larger lab brother. He prefers women and may take a little time to warm up to men. Montee is a wonderful, loyal companion looking for a calm home to spend his golden years. Montee just got his teeth cleaned and is ready for adoption. Adoption fee is $350+tax, please apply at www.campcompanion.org
