Story
Hi  Marshall here .  Just wanted to tell you a little about myselfI'm a sweet, quiet, tiny  senior gentleman.  You'd never know I'm 12yrs old .I do well with other dogs and like cats ( maybe too much) they are fun to chase sometimes.  If any other pups want to play I'm in for fun & dancing around. Toys are new to me but I like to carry them around. I often forget where I left them...  Oh, I maybe active but I still like naps ,car rides and hanging.  So far I'm rocking this potty training. At night I love to sleep with  foster family.I maybe peanut size but I'm packed with love and devotion.    ##2017829##

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Thank you for stopping by to see me!  Please fill out an application to set up  a private meeting.  Keep checking back for upcoming events I will be attending!       Hey there, I'm Lucky Charm! I may be a bit shy around humans at first, but let me tell you—I'm all about the doggy pals! I get super excited whenever I'm around other dogs and love to play and have a good time with them. Now, when it comes to humans trying to pick me up, well, I might try to do a little dash, but if you corner me, I'm totally cool with being scooped up and cuddled. Baths? Yeah, they're not really my favorite thing. I used to be terrified of them, but I'm starting to get the hang of it—slowly but surely! Oh, and speaking of getting used to things, I've discovered my voice lately. Yup, I've been letting out some barks here and there, especially when I spot new people or hear strange noises. But hey, a girl's gotta protect her turf, right? Now, I'm still getting the hang of walking on a leash. Sometimes I freeze up when I'm on one, especially around stairs. But give me some time, and I'll get the hang of it—I promise! When I'm not busy getting used to new things, you'll usually find me hoarding all the toys in my kennel. Yep, I'm a bit of a toy enthusiast, especially when they squeak! Oh, and don't forget my favorite treats—bones, peanut butter, and pumpkin. Yum! Sure, I may have a few fears, like loud noises and children, but I'm working on overcoming them every day. And let me tell you, I've got plenty of positives too! I'm adorable, curious, and oh-so-brave. So if you're looking for a sweet and adventurous puppy to join your family, I'm your girl! *I’m a growing puppy and I have not yet had a lot of experience with crates, kids or cats and I might bark if something alarms me, but I really love to learn and hoping for a family who will take me to a basic obedience class to continue to help me build confidence and dog skills. Ideally my forever home would need to be home during the day to help me with my potty training and not leave me for breaks longer than 3 - 4 hours. If you are looking for a best friend, please fill out the puppy application. The more info you include on the application the better so I can find a good match for my forever home. Get your toy box ready! **Obedience classes are required when adopting this puppy from Underdog Rescue. Many of our puppies have a mama who was not properly socialized before coming to Underdog Rescue. Since coming to Underdog, this puppy has been in a socialized and loving home, but that needs to be continued with its Adopters. Training classes teach puppies the ins and outs of being a pet while creating a bond with their new Adopter. Obedience classes are key to creating a relationship with your puppy while having it be a happy and successful member of society. Proof of Obedience Class registration is required for this puppy before adoptions can be finalized. If you would like some suggestions, we would be happy to send some trainers who have experience with Underdog Rescue, but a Basic Obedience class in your area should work! P lease note that some of our dogs are obtained from shelters, surrendered to our care, or released from breeders. Each animal's bio is based on our experience of the animal within our care, an educated guess based on physical characteristics, temperament and information shared. Each dog receives basic grooming when coming into rescue, but for some dogs they have not received grooming attention until recently and grooming may be required shortly after adoption. This will be at the adopter’s expense, so we encourage you to research the breed and be prepared for grooming expenses. Underdog cannot guarantee hypoallergenic or non-shedding qualities of any dogs in our rescue. Some of the animals come from situations where they are lacking experience in a home and confidence in humans. In turn, they require another companion dog and/or a fenced in yard in their forever home in order for them to feel safe. If you are interested in a particular dog whose bio states those needs and do not currently have them, please understand that your home might not be the right fit. Please use the filter on our Adoptable Dogs page to find the perfect match for your home.   This puppy requires an application fee. This fee must be paid within 24 hours or your application will be considered void.  We will not review or contact applicants that have not completed the payment portion. Puppy Applications will be responded to within 5 business days, after receipt of the application fee.  Please understand that paying the fee does not guarantee you will be approved to adopt the puppy. Our goal is place puppies in homes that are suited for their individual needs. You may be willing and able to provide a great home, but if it doesn’t meet the specific needs of the puppy, we will not approve your application. We accept applications for puppies until we have a candidate that meets all of the requirements needed for the specific puppy and they have been contacted to review the adoption process as well as agree to all of the terms to move forward. ***Be sure to check your spam/junk folder as sometimes our emails end up there***Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.If you have other questions about me you can email Underdog Rescue at <inquiries@underdogrescuemn.com> ADOPTION EVENTS:      Adoption events are updated at the top of each dogs animals' as their foster home signs up. Check back for updates on which events they will be attending. If an event is not listed within their bio above, the animal is not planning to attend.  Please understand that all of our pets are in volunteer foster homes and sometimes "life" happens and the foster family cannot make it to their scheduled adoption event. If you are traveling from a far distance to meet a specific animal, please understand we cannot guarantee event attendance. We recommend filling out an application and we will set up a private appointment. Private appointments are only scheduled after an application is submitted and approved. ADOPTION PROCEDURE: The first step in our process is to complete an online adoption application on our website: http://www.underdogrescuemn.com/adoptionprocess/   Note: In most circumstances Underdog Rescue will only adopt within 60 miles of Minneapolis, MN.  All of our foster animals can be seen by appointment with an approved adoption application. Contact us at http://www.underdogrescuemn.com/contact-us/ if you have further questions. FOSTER CARE: All of our animals are fostered in individual homes or doggie daycare facilities. While they are in our care, they are part of our families and given lots of love. We work on training, crate-training and socialization prior to adoption, but each bio is written by the foster as they see them, in their home. Each animal's behavior is evaluated and we have a sense of its temperament and personality, but it cannot be guaranteed. We look for adopters who will give each animal the wonderful life and permanent home that he or she deserves in time and with patience.  If you have an interest and ability to be a foster home, please visit our website  www.underdogrescuemn.com/foster-applications  and fill out a foster application. NUTRITION: Nutrition is vital to the rehabilitation and life-long health of our pets.  All of our foster animals are fed a premium diet such as NutriSource, Canidae, Orijen, Nature's Variety, Fromm, Pure Vita, Stella and Chewy's, Primal, or balanced raw diet.  All adopters are required to continue providing premium diets for the life of the animal. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Hi!  I’m Lucy, a sweet and spirited 10 year old apricot Maltese.  When my coat is grown out, it’s golden curls.  I am a beautiful sight to behold!  Like a princess.   I LOVE to play, to cuddle, and to be outside in a fenced yard to run and play with other dogs.  If you have any fur babies already in the home, please be sure to let them know I’m coming to play!     I am safe around your kids!  I am not mouthy or really that jumpy.  I just want LOVE LOVE LOVE.     I was left alone a lot in my previous home so I will be best with some fur baby pals and a favorite person who is around a lot.  Although I’m crate trained, I’ll cry a little when you first put me in, and don’t you even think of doing that when you’re still in the house!  I’ll let you know I don’t like that!   I have many many great points and would love a forever home with you, so if you meet this basic criteria, please put in an application so my foster mommy can tell you about me!  Foster mommy lives outside of Prior Lake.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.Interested in adopting this lovable animal? Please go to our website www.wagsmn.org and fill out an Adoption Application.  Once the application is processed, a Wags representative will contact you, answer any questions you may have, and set up a time/location for a meet and greet!  A home visit is required prior to adoption.  Thank you for choosing to adopt! Breed and temperament determination:  Wags & Whiskers Animal Rescue attempts to determine breed and temperament using a combination of looks, information provided to us at intake, and our experience with the animal while in our Rescue.  We do not guarantee this determination. Thank you for stopping by to see me!  Please fill out an application to set up  a private meeting.  Keep checking back for upcoming events I will be attending!       Hi there, I’m Valp, your potential new best buddy! Let me give you the lowdown on why I’d make the perfect addition to your family. First things first, let’s talk personality. I’m a happy, curious, and playful little guy. I absolutely love to explore and follow my humans around the house, soaking up all the action. But shh, don’t tell anyone – sometimes I sneak away to find a good carpet corner to chew on. Hey, a pup's gotta do what a pup's gotta do, right? I’m super friendly and love being snuggled and held by anyone who’s willing. No shy or timid vibes here! I get along famously with my foster siblings, even the small senior dogs. I might whine a bit when it’s crate time, but I settle down quickly. And while I’m still getting used to car rides, I’m sure I’ll learn to love them – eventually. Now, let’s talk fun stuff – toys and treats! I’m all about that squeaky, crinkly, fuzzy, bouncy toy life. And when it comes to treats, well, let’s just say I’m not one to turn down a delicious snack. Yak chews are a personal favorite of mine! When it comes to training, I’m a quick learner. I’ve already mastered some basic commands like sit, come, and leave it, and I’m working hard to become an obedient little pup. Bath time and brushing? No problem at all – I’m as cooperative as they come! Now, you might be wondering about my potty training situation. Well, I’m still a work in progress in that department, but with a little patience and consistency, I’ll get there in no time. And as for leash training, I’m already strutting my stuff on walks, getting better every day. In summary, I’m the absolute sweetest little pup you’ll ever meet. With a bit of love, patience, and plenty of treats, I’ll fit right into your family and steal your heart in no time. So, what do you say? Ready to make me a part of your forever home? Excitedly wagging my tail, Valp *I’m a growing puppy and I have not yet had a lot of experience with crates, kids or cats and I might bark if something alarms me, but I really love to learn and hoping for a family who will take me to a basic obedience class to continue to help me build confidence and dog skills. You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Thank you for stopping by to see me!  Please fill out an application to set up  a private meeting.  Keep checking back for upcoming events I will be attending!       Hello, my name is Connor! In case you haven’t already noticed, I am a very handsome male Maltese mix puppy. It must be said that I am one very sweet and loyal pup who enjoys chewing on bones and going to the dog park. That said, I’m quite a snuggle bug who loves nothing more than being with my person especially when I get to sleep on them! Hee, hee!! I’m good with kids, cats, and other dogs but I don’t like loud noises or commotion. Additionally, I’m a bit timid with strangers but will usually warm up quickly. I don’t like the kennel/crate and am not afraid to voice my dislike; and as a puppy, I’m still working on potty and leash training. Don’t worry though, I’m a smart boy who knows what “sit” and “go potty” mean so I’m sure I will catch on in no time! Anyway, home life is very new to me but I’m loving it so far and all I need now is a patient, unconditionally loving fur-ever family that will NEVER give up on me. If you’re looking for a calm and very sweet snuggle bug, I’m your guy! I hope we get to meet very soon because I’m eager to begin the next chapter of my life with YOU! Love & snuggles, Connor I’m a growing puppy and I have not yet had a lot of experience with crates, kids or cats and I might bark if something alarms me, but I really love to learn and hoping for a family who will take me to a basic obedience class to continue to help me build confidence and dog skills. Story
Hello there! My name is Betti Boo and I am looking for a new home! I never thought that at 7 years old I would have to look for a new home but unfortunately, my previous owner has disappeared off the face of the earth somehow. I ended up getting confiscated by the police and held at animal control for a long time. But, I was sprung from jail by God's Dogs and after a visit to the vet, I am ready to find a new home to call my own! Foster mom says I tend to be a little bossy to the other little dogs at her house and that I will even try to chase them away from their food bowls at meal times. And I guess I have to admit to doing that, and I am getting used to having to eat by myself. I love to be with people and will follow you all around the house, and am interested in everything you are doing. I can be ok for a little while by myself if I am in my crate so I can feel safe, but if you can take me with you, that is good too. I walk pretty well on a leash. I basically ignore the cat that lives here, and get along with all the dogs, even the big ones. My beautiful hair had some mats in it and it is a little funky on my bottom, but I am still beautiful. It is like I have an apricot undercoat with a white overcoat. Really stylish I believe. Anyhow, if you would like to give me my forever home, please fill out the application and I will be waiting to meet you!! Local adoption fee is $400 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $600 (includes transport to your area, $50 temporary fuel fee will be included)
