Story
Daisy is a lovable little Maltese female puppy, about 4.5 months old and just around 10 pounds. This sweet girl is full of puppy happiness! Daisy loves running zoomies around the yard and then following her foster mom around, curiously investigating everything happening around her. She has such a wonderful, happy personality and is loving, gentle, playful, and affectionate. Daisy is the kind of little girl who will bring smiles, laughter, and lots of love to her forever family. She is ready to find someone who will love her and give her the wonderful life she deserves. Puppy shots are up to date and Microchipped. Spay Agreement: Daisy is not yet old enough to be spayed. Her adopter will be required to sign a spay agreement and have her spayed after she reaches 6 months of age. Adoption Donation: $475 Daisy's adoption donation helps cover her medical care and also helps provide medical care, food, and support for the other dogs in our rescue. Every adoption helps us save another dog in need. Daisy is being fostered in Hesperia, CA and must be met there. Please email Alphadogpetrescue@yahoo.com to request our adoption application.

Story
Meet Bunny 🐾 Breed: Maltipoo Age: ~11 years old Health: Great health for his age! Recent dental (March) — he has some teeth left, just not a full set. About Bunny Bunny is a sweet, affectionate senior gentleman looking for a quiet place to finally settle down. He was surrendered to rescue when his owner could no longer care for him, and understandably, the transition wasn't easy on him. It took Bunny a good while to decompress, and he's still a little anxious about being moved around — which just means he's looking for a stable, patient home where he can stop bracing for the next change. Once he feels safe, Bunny is a total love bug. He adores cuddling and would happily spend all day curled up next to his person or tucked into bed with you. He's crate trained and potty trained, though he may need a quick refresher on house training when he first settles into a new home — totally normal for a dog who's been through some upheaval. Something to Know About Him Bunny's past has left him with a bit of a sensitive side. He loves being petted and cuddled, but he lets you know clearly when he's had enough — sometimes with a growl. It's not aggression, it's communication, and he responds really well to people who listen to it. He'll do best in a home with older kids (no young children, please) who can read his body language and respect his boundaries when he tells them he's done. Life With Other Pets Bunny gets along fine with other dogs once proper introductions are made, but he's got a bit of a bossy streak and genuinely prefers being the only dog in the house — he'd likely be happiest as an only pup. Cats, on the other hand, are no problem at all — he currently lives with a resident cat and does great with her. Bunny's Ideal Home A calm, stable household where he won't be shuffled around No young children; older, dog-savvy kids are welcome Preferably the only dog (cats are welcome!) A person (or people) happy to let him sleep in bed or cuddle up on the couch Patience for a little settling-in time and the occasional grumble when he's had enough attention Bunny isn't a "perfect" dog — he has some big feelings about his past, he'll tell you when he's done being petted, and he'd rather not share the spotlight with another dog. But for the right home — one that gives him time, respects his signals, and wants a devoted cuddle buddy for his golden years — Bunny has so much love left to give. Bunny's adoption fee is $100 and includes the dog being up to date on vaccines, micro-chipped and neutered. To meet Bunny please e-mail us at secondchanceLV@gmail.com We are a non-profit organization ran by 100% unpaid volunteers, the adoption fee for each animal is to help offset the costs of running the rescue (medical care, food, shelter, etc) and to ensure that we can continue helping animals.
